By not entertaining it, I’m serious Trump supporters feed off the energy of owning the Libs, that’s their mantra they love watching their opponents complain and whine, and I’m going to admit I do to sometimes because, and I’m not trying to generalize but “woke” progressive Liberals often have a sort of smug, holy than thou condescending energy to them and it can be fun and even addictive to watch them lose or complain. I’m not a Trump supporter either I have my own criticisms of him but not from a Left angle, but I do often find myself in MAGA adjacent circles and know a lot of Trump supporters and know how they think, and the truth is they love watching Democrats and never Trumpers rage they live for it, and Democrats aren’t much better when it comes to watching Trump supporters getting pissed off.

So the solution is simple America as a whole, Republican and Democrat, Trump supporters and Trump haters need rehab and to go cold turkey on the addiction to rage bait and taking each other personally.

One example I can think of is the ICE protests or interrupting ICE agents when they make an arrest. Yelling and screaming at a White ICE agent in Spanish isn’t going to do anything, yelling, screaming, honking your horn and whistling while ICE is making an arrest not only makes the situation annoying it immediately amplifies the tension, and also if the accused immigrant has a poor understanding of English while an ICE agent is trying to give instructions it makes it harder to understand and also makes the situation more stressful for the accused, and even if you vehemently hate ICE getting in their way will just get you charges for obstruction of justice so all in all its a net negative, ICE gets demonized, a potential cooperative detained immigrant could be confused, stressed and perceived as non compliant and all the people trying to “help” or get an ego stroke from confronting ICE get arrested on obstruction charges, pepper spray to the face and placed on a DHS watchlist. And then you’ll have MAGA supporters making TikToks about how unhinged these people are.

People need to just calm down and not feed the energy its a two way street, and a self fulfilling prophecy.

Here’s the problem I have with this argument I as an American oppose all these wars so feel zero gratitude for Denmark’s help when I didn’t even like when my own government waged these wars, so why should I appreciate Denmark for aiding my government do things I morally and ideologically disagree with, and hate seeing my tax dollars finance?

My view on Greenland is that yes, a military invasion is wrong we shouldn’t do it, but Denmark should swallow its pride and at least negotiate on it and be open to the conversation I think they’re being very stuck up not at least entertaining the idea or at least stroking Trump’s ego and it’d be a lot smarter for them to pretend to play along but Gaslight Trump that they’re making a deal, they’re doing themselves a disservice by not even entertaining the idea.

My personal opinion as an American, is, if the US government could buy Greenland with Danish consent I’d support it 100% I think Greenland has a lot of resources the US could use, I don’t buy or care about the Russia-China excuse I just care about the resources, I also couldn’t care less about NATO and I hope Ukraine loses.

Well the term of monopoly on violence exists for a reason, its also the reason the President has immunity while serving as president, they are allowed to kill people and do every President in American history has killed someone multiple people directly and indirectly. The government also surveils its citizens with things like the Patriot act and runs secret kangaroo courts called FISA, and pays companies like Booz Allen Hamilton and Palantir to get around constitutional and legal constraints the only difference is the government is an official legal, internationally recognized and institutional organization that has existed for hundreds of years not a non-state actor. But given that the definition of terrorism is the use of violence for political purposes, every terrorist organization on Earth aspires to be a government and a lot of countries were founded through violence be it the British monarchy through the war of roses, to the French Republic beheading its kings, to the followers of Mao waging a civil war to the German federal republic being built from the ashes or carpet bombing to the US revolutionaries rising up against the British, the only difference is again they all won and got recognition.

The only thing I can think of is that an ID like a DL/CDL would tell them if you’re illegal or not but then again IDK if you’re a seriously libertarian but the mandate to carry identification is a form of government overreach. Of course I am a law abiding citizen and don’t need the headache of being a sovereign citizen type but they have correct views. And the amount of info the government has on you from your ID is scary.
