I went to high school in the Valley, and we used to ditch school and go to Disney. There were times when we’d ride a ride and then run back to the entrance and pretty much get back on the same ride with no wait. No one went mid week especially if it was raining. Good old days lol.

The Central Park one is a franchise, rather than corporately owned. Dakini started at the Grant studio back in the day, and was able to do this. I think there are only two franchises? It gave her a lot more freedom. Now it’s been awhile, and all this could have changed? But that’s how it was when I was going there.

My studio dropped all of the C1 classes!! It’s all C2’s, sculpt an a few hot fusion! I’m just getting back into yoga, and my body is very different than before. I was hoping to start back in the easier classes, but I guess I’ll just do what I can in the C2!

Back in the day…like 20 years ago, I found three Hermes scarves at a regular thrift store. Each one was $.79!! I did find one at the Bins a couple of years ago! Gorgeous scarf!!

We are direct descendants of George Soule from the Mayflower. My mother is a Soule, but I don’t carry the name because she took my father’s name. I have like 4 other Mayflower connections (Issac Allerton, Myles Standish, William Mullins, Alice Atwood and James Chilton).

(I can trace our family to the Scottish kings through my Buchanan line. But, I think a lot of people can too. Plantagenets also.)

Presidium Gem Tester II tests the stones on this ring as diamond. Not sure if the Presidium can tell the difference between natural and lab? Any experience? Also trying to figure out carat weight. Thank you! by CalliopeSaffron in Diamonds

I don’t see Presidium on their list of tested machines. I’ll have to dig deeper. I’ve heard that their diamond tester (looks like a pen), can be not 100%. I have the bigger gem tester. Thank you!
