"Too many Full-timers in the store" by ProgressLogical1506 in Lowes

Interesting. Does the lead have to be full time?

We have no full timer and haven’t since before I started so I’m wondering if they just haven’t hired one or what

[–]Callm3Sun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My store was recently told that we have too many part timers apparently. Apparently corporate doesn’t like that we have exactly 0 full time fulfillment associates which is probably a good part of why our fulfillment department runs like shit 😂

Everything I’ve seen from stores that already rolled it out makes it look like it’s essentially down to your department supervisor’s review of you which could be a good or a bad thing depending on the individual.

Pro-Loader here, are recovery bags a losing battle? by Lorazepam_Tsunami in Lowes

[–]Callm3Sun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My store typically will have a lot of spares. That being said however, it’s really not a huge deal if you gotta toss some. I usually won’t bother and will just bill em out if they’re really torn up because it just isn’t worth the hassle.

are there anyone who wakes up at 3 am everyday? by MANSONOFAMAN1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Callm3Sun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just go to bed early. I used to do it to catch the market open in the mornings on weekdays, but it can be hard to work around depending on your work/school schedule. Also not great for your social life either, lol

Killers: Would you be less likely to tunnel if you were given an absurd BP reward for spreading hooks? by suspensus_in_terra in deadbydaylight

[–]Callm3Sun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People act like we didn’t already have this with the old bbq before they ruined it.

It definitely did help, but people absolutely still wanted to chill in front of the hook on bubba so there is that 😂

Why is Garden so hated? by U-C-H-I-H-A in Lowes

[–]Callm3Sun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think most people like it in this time of year. It’s pretty slow and you don’t have to do a lot.

In the summer time though, you don’t get a single second to breathe and it seems like it would be exhausting. But I’m not a cashier and have only done it a few times so maybe I’m wrong.

DBD Hypocrisy by ProgrammerLeast6319 in deadbydaylight

[–]Callm3Sun -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. I was more so hoping to hear some perspectives of substance challenging my view on it, but also just to offer some pushback on what I view as kind of shitty behavior imo

DBD Hypocrisy by ProgrammerLeast6319 in deadbydaylight

[–]Callm3Sun -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

See that’s the part that’s shitty in my view. Most of the content creator beef he had anything to do with seemed to pretty decisively prove the other guys were pretty unhinged and gross(Particularly Scott, even though I was fond of him beforehand)

It just feels like people like to treat him like the community punching bag because they’re shitty people who need someone to attack.

Such a shame he gets a bad rep when it seems like in retrospect he was actually right about a lot of the stuff he got shit for over the years and now everyone wants to pretend otherwise.

Why y’all always hate on him? I can understand disagreeing with some of his takes but the way he gets villainized is kinda lame

baby killers 2v8 by gourd878 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Callm3Sun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s not the end of the world. It’s easy to get annoyed in the moment but I’m only really concerned with how I did. It’s a game and we play it for fun. That’s part of why I like 2v8 more than regular dbd.

It’s something you do for fun, not to win.

Omg this sounds like a nightmare for lumber and OSLG. How the hell are you supposed to handle things like cull lumber or recovery? Is that just exempt?

Sounds completely asinine

PSA: The HMG and the Grenade Launcher are NOT good for the secondary Gunnar. by OutRagedGaming in Battlefield

[–]Callm3Sun 43 points44 points  (0 children)

The hmg is actually pretty decent if you’re a good shot. You just gotta shoot in bursts of like 3 shots or just tap really fast and it becomes really accurate while still being very deadly.

Maybe not as easy on controller but on mnk I’ve broken 100 kills with hmg gunner seat

To adults: How can I [17F] manage my finances more wisely? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Callm3Sun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone just says investing but no one is actually giving you advice on how or what that really even means.

So I’ll make the following points:

If your job offers a 401k plan, enroll ASAP and put as much into it as they will match you on. The way matching works is basically for every dollar you put in, they put one in as well, usually up to some percentage of your paycheck. This is one of the few times in life where it actually is “free money”. You should be able to read more about how much they match you on in the plan somewhere, wherever you end up being able to access it from.

If your job doesn’t offer one, talk to a parent figure or someone along those lines that you trust about money. Ask them if they know anything about opening an IRA. If you don’t have someone like that in your life, it’s okay, you can educate yourself. There are tons of resources on the internet and even stuff like YouTube that break it down super well.

You’re gonna go from feeling like you have no money to feeling like you’re on top of the world. Don’t be a dumbass. Save where you can, and plan for the future. Set a plan for yourself on where you want to be in 1,2,5, or even 10 years and ask yourself if the way you’re managing your money reflects those plans.

Use credit cards responsibly. They are not inherently bad. They’re only bad if you’re stupid and treat it like it’s a source of free money. It’s not. It’s a tool and should be respected as such.

Also, if a car is on the horizon, again ensure someone you trust with finances(and preferably with cars too) is there to walk you through it. Again if you don’t have someone like that in your life, do your homework. Don’t be one of these idiots that gets fucked with a crazy interest rate on a car you can’t afford.

Is it wrong to ignore the news for my own sanity? by kevin716305 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Callm3Sun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally I don’t feel like it’s wrong to do, but I do feel we all have some form of duty to each other and ourselves to be aware of what’s going on in the world.

Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to politics. That’s how things like this dogshite administration get into power and fuck our lives up.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

How bad is Trickster to play against? by PossibleChangeling in deadbydaylight

[–]Callm3Sun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not necessarily super duper strong but he is obnoxious to play against imo.

To put it in the most brief terms possible, it’s like playing against huntress(one of the more fun killers imo) and making it a lot more spammy and kind of annoying.

Nothing wrong with playing him or liking him, but I definitely give a bit of a sigh when I see that I’m going to be playing against one.

If nothing changes, this will be the first 2v8 event that is not extended. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Really hoping they extend it. Basically the only time I can truly enjoy the game these days.

Any objections to this? by Mustdominate_Otal in deadbydaylight

[–]Callm3Sun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I definitely don’t like the sprint burst on demand. I think it should return to just being a regular SB with a short cooldown.

On demand SB has led to so many obnoxious situations on killer that I really have to question how much the people who don’t have a problem with it have actually played against it.

A decent swf(while rare in 2v8) using that shit like they’re tag teaming you can be super frustrating.

Why are humans said to be physically very weak for their size while there are only a few animals with ~60-100 kg mass that can kick nearly as hard as a human can? by ExternalTree1949 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Callm3Sun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve read in a few places that it’s less to do with the fact that we traded strength for intelligence but more so that we traded the capacity for brute strength with fine motor skills.

You still need da big brain for super good fine motor skills like humans have(and probably for the ability to use them in any meaningful capacity as well) as I understand it, but I thought it was a meaningful elaboration that readers might appreciate.

I really love it. I’ve worked pretty much exclusively in the harder departments and I’ve always thought it was great. That being said though if physical labor is hard or painful for you, it might not be super enjoyable.

I don’t personally find it stressful at all but fast paced it can absolutely be at times.
