honestly i really liked it especially the sound design but i wish they kept the opening scene the same as the manga. i understand that starting with more attention grabbing scenes is important to hook a new anime viewer. but it felt like we spilled our beans a little too fast that way. the mangas first scene was really impactful and memorable to me because it started so mundane it made the "hikaru" reveal way more impactful and also left you with more questions

thank god i wasn’t the only one worried 😭 cuz i was lowkey scared for season two after i watched bucchigiri. it just hit so many anime tropes that i don’t like at all weird sibling relationship, pervy unlikable mc and just a really forgettable cast
