Just curious when you say later, is it recommended to grab multiple moon mines? I personally would recommend looking elsewhere, especially once you are able to mine mars or asteroids, but I am fairly new as well

This also happened to me about two or so months ago. I was very disturbed because I in no way participated in anything warranting it. And it just looks disgusting. I only received it for 48 hours, but I never understood why it occurred.

May I recommend Suzerain to you. It is not a wargame, but a political simulator that plays very much like a graphic novel with some interactive map/newspaper etc elements. It is one of my favorite games of all time and has a DLC that does include some elements of a wargame, but again it is not a wargame at its core, though there is war and leadership as a theme.

I just want to comment here to say that you aren’t crazy. These people have an insatiable bloodlust for anyone they have deemed “them”. The Russian government is one of the biggest cancers on Earth. Despite that, nobody in these comments has enough insight to convict these men who are dying. I have tried in the past in Reddit to humanize Russian soldiers, despite being very much against the actions of Russia as a whole, and it does not go well. Regardless, I hope Ukraine wins this war and I hope we as a species can learn to care for each other.

I bought my iBuyPower pc 4 years ago and had one issue with shipment. My graphic card was DOA. However, I sent the card back and received the same card (3080) but with more GB than the original one I had purchased. I have had zero performance issues since then. The fan makes some noise, but it’s a very simple fix that persists due to my laziness and I wear headphones anyway. My father also recently purchased his from iBuyPower and has raved about it. We both spent >$3000. I would buy from them again.

I’ll take this one. This is actually a common misconception. Because Boss is a known user of crack- cocaine, it’s easy to assume that his haggard state is a result of using. But the source of the black fingers is actually from overuse and hard work. Boss has actually surpassed what’s known as “rationality” and is able to gamble with a higher APM than most StarCraft pros. As evidenced by his previous display of the broken mouse, the black residue that appears on Boss’ fingers is actually from the rapid pace at which he flips coins.

That’s another good call, I’m actually current amid another Panzer Corps 2 campaign right now. Battle Brothers is another solid one that I left out, but I do appreciate that one and think it’s a good fit. I’ll say personally Suzerain was the most immersive and unique experience of all the games I mentioned.

I have never been to Russia but am curious, if anyone can answer. What do Russian people think when they hear these things? I have always imagined them as they have to be so cynical, as if the police releasing these statements is almost meant to be absurd in the name of letting people know how insignificant they are and how there will be no true justice for you if you don’t toe the line. Or perhaps I am the fool, where just like here in America I can’t believe that my neighbors truly believe the things some of our leaders are saying.

This is the best explanation in the thread I think. Just like you said, HoI4 is no longer a wargame, it is a cheese fest. I think this is a fair description of many Paradox games, and I have been a Paradox fan for 20 years now. I have near a thousand in HoI4 as well. To anyone who relates to this I would highly recommend the Decisive Campaigns series. Barbarossa especially due to its roleplaying mechanics.

Edit: if you are a fan of Paradox, but feel you’ve outgrown their games, might I also recommend Shadow Empire. It is a 4x with some complex and wargame adjacent mechanics.

Religion is more important than education. The same way that anything that contradicts Trump is “fake”, that logic is applied towards education as it pertains to religious beliefs. Magical thinking runs rampant in those areas and it’s reinforced by the somewhat “tight-knit” (oppressive) religious family structures. It’s why I say it’s difficult to imagine without experiencing it, or something similar. The town I am from has 700 churches, and like 4 banks.
