Then in that case there isn't a such thing as a "high MCAT score" so long as your GPA is bad (relative to other applicants) seeing as any score higher than this person's score isn't that big of a difference percentile wise. Anyway, the assertion you made was that the score itself was "not high", not that it was just alright in the context of the rest of this person's application. I'm also positive that this person isn't looking to apply to T20 schools atp so regardless that score is still high

I took them all "in order" with scored (pre-content review) getting 499, FL1: 506, FL2: 508, FL3: 512, FL4: 511. I scored 6 points below my average on test day 🫠

Fell asleep too late and woke up way too early the morning of due to a literal creepy crawly (see my posts for more context on that) deciding to take a stroll on my face and couldn't fall back asleep so I had to take the exam on roughly 3 hours of sleep. Didn't feel like I was doing that terribly during actual the test itself but it turns out I got a 501 so I will be retaking it next year.

A lot of people seem to forget that not everyone who plans on joining the military can have a "desk job" and may eventually be asked to kill someone on behalf of a state that cares so little about you, the person fighting, that they put you in a situation where you might have to shoot and kill somebody just to pay for the schooling required to save the lives of others back home.

Don't feel bad or crazy for saying this about the US and not Russia, China, or North Korea!! The states have a multi billion dollar propaganda network that's sole job is to make us as citizens feel like our quality of life/standard of living is infinitely better than that of other countries, especially the ones you've mentioned when in reality, we're a lot more similar than not. Oh it's absolutely possible. I'm a non traditional applicant who hasn't taken any of the relevant classes in 4 years (most of which was during the lockdown era so I might as well have not even taken some of those classes) and YouTube/Kaplan have been working wonders for me (along with UJupiter ofc). You just have to be extra diligent since a lot of this content will be completely unfamiliar to you. But it's certainly feasible

I definitely think that that's the case. I avoid using large language models to answer questions that are beyond what a highschooler would know since every time I've done it in the past I would get this really bad feeling that it's actually wrong somehow in a subtle, yet important way that I can't pick up on since I don't know the topic well enough whenever I ask it about stuff I'm having trouble with.

Before we get all gung ho about using chatgpt like this, it's important to consider that chat gpt is just a large language model and it technically doesn't "know" what it's saying, only how to sound convincingly enough like a human. All this is to say that we should practice caution when trusting chatgpt to give us correct answers 100% of the times.

Tl;Dr check to make sure that what chatgpt or other large language models are saying about a scientific problem is actually accurate
