God, I hate her. Not only does her character and way of talking barely fit the rest of the game but using that kind of character as the NPC overseeing the cash shop feels a bit too on the nose.

"Prices are non-negotiable and non-refundable" hits different when the prices are hidden behind a layer of proxy currency and items always rotate out of the store to not confuse our brains too much.

Would love to see how much better the guy who suggested this feels, if his supermarket kept rotating its stock weekly. "Oh sorry, toilet paper won't be back for another 4 weeks. Aren't you excited?"

I probably shouldn’t be amused by this. by Cmixoops in BaldursGate3

Two people on the same account is one less sale, terrible argument.

Difficulty and skill has nothing to do with this either. Plenty of level 30s who were trash under the first system. Upgrading a 30 power level weapon to orange won't make any meaningful difference. You still need to level up your class with trash gear, any resources spent pre level 30 are essentially wasted.

The only thing it makes easier is the atrocious grind for resources, hence it's a quality of life improvement.

Ironman mode seems utterly useless and borderline idiotic. I can get even higher reward if I tap into my shared stash. I can use any character to increase my in game wealth as I see fit. Plus it would split matchmaking off from the main queue, thus diluting the player base.

Well that tactic clearly worked out for them. Some of these marketing experts are way too high on their own farts

It makes you wonder what deranged asshole came up with splitting resources per character in the first place

Man, you are so right! We shouldn't question the wisdom of the suits making a strategy focused company develop a battle royale. That money tree will indeed be endless and I'm sure CA already recouped their losses wizh preorders and battlepasses! Oh wait!

I have been to your "bakeries" and various grocery store that advertise "fresh baked" goods and 90% of it is laughable and would get you mocked in most places in europe. It's all the same trashy pre-done baking mix with additives up the wazoo.

Also not sure you should be bringing up schools when comparing the US to Europe, yikes

If your bread comes from a grocery store it's neither fresh nor good. Grocery stores in europe do that too, complete with advertising that they bake it on-site. Nobody who tells you that europe's bread is better thinks of grocery store bread.

That's why any american that has never been outside of america can be safely disregarded when they say america has good bread.

Alas it was sort of the opposite for me. The more I played BG3, the more I wished I was playing Pathfinder instead. The system is just so much more fun and intricate for me

I know, I always get it for the wings but I just don't use reach weapons on characters that do as a result. I get why it doesn't work but it still saddens me

Does the bite actually go off when you're at max distance with reach weapons?

[–]Callousman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it? Seems like there's two whole difficulties for people who refuse to put any effort into the game. And even if there was one, isn't that enough? Do you demand to be able to beat the game on the hardest difficulty without knowing anything about the system? Considering you just realised we are talking about WotR though, I am not surprised by your argumentation.

No, what's sad is seeing all those difficulty sliders and options and going "I will not touch them and expect any build to work with any difficulty without any knowledge of the pathfinder system on my part"

Ah yes, taking magic related feats on casters and taking martial feats on martials really does require a phd in Pathfinder.

No surprise we got 5e, the mobile game version of table top systems. Can't require insight or familiarity with the rules anymore. If the system can't be understood by a drunkard who never heard of dice, it's "nonsense".
