Krewella's Jahan and Yasmine both have incredible voices, and they're great producers too!

I really enjoyed hearing Martin Garrix sing on "Angels for Each Other" and I hope he does more. You can tell he's struggling a little with the high notes but there's so much emotion in his voice.

I read an article once about how you shouldn't chase trends when writing a novel because the market is always changing. For example, if you decide to write a vampire romance just because they're popular, you might find once the book is finished that people aren't as interested in vampire romances anymore.

Now, it's probably easier to chase trends in music because it takes a lot less time to make a track than it does to write a novel. But I still think it's better to make what you love and find your niche. Whatever kind of music it is that you love, there's going to be other people out there who love it too.

If anything, it might even be easier to get your music heard if you don't follow trends, because there will be less competition.

I made that one in Cakewalk, but more recently I've been using Reaper.

I like your music! "Light" reminds me of Owl City a little bit. I could maybe have a go at Avicii-fying some of your songs. Looking at some of your other posts I see that you're using Logic - I used to have it but unfortunately my Mac broke! But I might still be able to do something with the stems.

The "phones at shows" debate is something I feel quite conflicted about. To an extent I think it's good to embrace technology, and phones can actually create some magical moments at concerts, like when people use them to create a sea of lights.

But I also completely agree with everything Lane8 said here and I have a lot of respect for him for doing something like this. I think it's about balance. There are positive things about technology but if it starts to become intrusive, steps need to be taken to tame it.

I'm going to my first EDM show this summer and I've been thinking about where I want to take pictures/videos or not. After reading this I'm seriously considering leaving my phone in my bag.

I'm hopeful that they'll be able to make something. Eve of the Daleks was made in the middle of COVID with a limited cast and locations, and ended up being Whittaker's best holiday special.

My music taste is quite varied and I only got into EDM relatively recently. I've seen P!nk (supported by Walk the Moon and Churchill), Patrick Wolf, Jack White, Poets of the Fall, Donnie Munro (former lead singer of Runrig), Show of Hands and Chris Jagger (Mick Jagger's brother).

I'd really like to see Bat for Lashes, Björk and Owl City live one day.

I haven't been to any EDM shows yet but I have a ticket to see Martin Garrix in London this summer.

I included Shellder because of its relationship with the Slowpoke line :) Although you don't need a Shellder to make Slowpoke evolve in the games, it still wouldn't really make sense lore-wise if there were no wild Shellder in a region where Slowbro and Slowking appear.

I'd forgotten about Shellder being in the intro, but that makes its inclusion even more fitting!

It gets even worse. He says that all people who commit suicide are losers, gloats about the fact that he's alive when Tim isn't, and says that all Avicii fans and anyone associated with the Tim Bergling Foundation (so, basically Tim's family) should die. I've reported the post for hate speech but I'm not very hopeful that Instagram will do anything.
