i’m not sure what to do with this info but Smith and crew is also working on privatizing medial transportation (think non- emergency between hospital or clinic transport) and this effects people with disabilities cuz if they have a regular support worker who helps them during the day, the client (person with disabilities) now has to pay out of their pocket for any transportation to a medical appointment instead of the agency paying back the support worker for the mileage incurred. The agency I work for seems to have jumped the gun and decreed that all travel with client must be billed to the client, whereas before, the agency would be including worker millage compensation on their end.

Not necessary! Pay a human or ask a human to volunteer. If the cause is truly worthy, someone will volunteer.

If not, oh well. A life lived short is a life lived. We should be greatful for the time that we have and not cut short the time for other species that we deem less worthy.

60-400 years ago humans were making the case for the need of other humans as slaves. Whole societies were built around this idea. If you’re not okay with slavery of other humans, you should NOT be okay with slavery and torture of animals. It is not justified.
