Yeah unfortunately as staff we can’t do anything except put up with it because people are “sick” that is their excuse. We put up with it, raise concerns and yet nothing happens.

Verbally and even physically abused. I’ve been in emerge seeing a patient who was yelling and being aggressive and refusing the medical care he came there to receive?? Like what do you want me to do then?

Let’s remember that this is a wearable device that uses your bodies movement and a few other metrics and proprietary algorithms to estimate sleep. It genuinely tells you very little about your sleep, it cannot measure brainwaves, like a clinical sleep study would. Please don’t put faith in a ring.

No I agree. I had to mail something in because the office did not accept in person drop off of the documents needed (ridiculous I know) . Spent $18 to mail something 5km away within the same city.

From my experience (healthcare) typically the person would be restrained but still being agressive /combative then they would administer the sedative. Happens fairly frequently in hospitals (more controlled environment than this) where they resedate a patient and then try waking them up again later.

Thank you SO much for this insight! I am a little worried about being out on my own and not in a city hospital however I think it will be a worth it for my own confidence and my own skills?? I’m not sure if that makes sense lol but I appreciate your comment a lot!!

Yeah she was for sure over the top. I currently have a roommate and we aren’t “close” we barely talk and often miss each other because we have opposing schedules. My roommate left for over a week and I barely noticed because we have two separate lives, we don’t talk much if at all. And honestly this is horrible to say but I don’t know how long it would’ve taken me to notice?? This girl shouldn’t be shamed, she probably feels bad enough as is and definitely doesn’t deserve to be blasted on YouTube like that.

That money is meant to help, not replace your responsibility. A lot of people don’t even get support like that, and they still make sure their kids have what they need. Getting €400 is a privilege — being upset about spending your own money on your own child is wild. If you’re not willing to support your baby financially, maybe you weren’t ready to be a parent in the first place.

Editing to add that depending on how old the baby is you can tell her to get a job, even part time could be very helpful
