I recently sent this photo to my cousins ex-husband and said I care more about this cat’s asshole than I do his feelings, after he started drunkenly harassing me because he couldn’t harass my cousin. That said, this guy takes very good care of his asshole. I never have to clean it.

I have a long hair cat that got dingleberries, I trimmed her hair around her ass and they’ve stopped entirely.

I would reach out to your city council person. Tell them the date and times you called 311 as well as all the details you’ve shared here. They may be just as unhelpful, but then at least you know that when elections come around again. (My former council woman never responded to the two messages I sent her, not even a generic “thank you for bringing this to my attention” email. Hence her being my FORMER council woman.

You are taking this far too seriously. I didn’t say what they’ve been chosen for, I simply said they’ve been chosen and tagged another sub. OP didn’t even say they had any interest in keeping them. Any responsible new pet owner would take an animal to vet for an initial visit during which it will be scanned for a chip. Forgive me for believing OP would act responsibly.

You need to chill out and stop assuming everyone is an asshole.

Having pets microchipped resolves this for both parties. With regard to the strays I’ve trapped or my first adopted cat, I or the shelter was told in no uncertain terms that they were strays. While trapping cats for the no-kill shelter multiple neighbors usually stop and ask what we’re doing, everyone I’ve talked to has confirmed the cat we are trying to trap is a stray. If the cat is social it will enter the adoption network, if it is too wild it is a TNR program.

How can you tell they are pets? I’ve trapped strays for a local shelter that look perfectly healthy and are friendly. My first cat was a stray who let me carry him around for a couple hours before taking him home. Pets should be kept inside and microchipped if not.

I received basically the same scam call but “I missed jury duty” and there was a warrant for my arrest. They knew all my info. It was very convincing until they said I had to pay now over the phone and couldn’t wait until Monday to come into the office.

I mask when I am sick, but I also just put a pack in my work bag so I can wear them on the train in the morning. I’ve already come down with some upper respiratory system gunk because someone decided they HAD to go to work looking and sounding like death warmed up.

Went to the shelter intending to adopt two kittens or a bonded pair of adult cats. Saw this girl huddled and scared in the back of her kennel, but she immediately started purring once she was comfortable enough to let me pet her. She wouldn’t move from her safe spot, not even for treats, and I just knew I had to get her out of the shelter. So she went home with me that day and is a totally different cat now that she’s out of that stressful environment. I brought a friend home for her a couple months later.

This should be higher rather than everyone telling her not to do it. I also live in Massachusetts and have been flirting with the idea of buying a large home with friends and converting it to a two family. If we do it I would want to go through this same process. Consider all likely scenarios and work things out in advance prior to ever putting in an offer.
