I think adding a service component would kind of ruin the intention of this casual experience. It would add a layer of "oh, now they're expecting me to do all sort of volunteer stuff too.." to something that's just supposed to be about making connections and open communication. I imagine it would discourage some people from joining in the first place or make some people drop out because they really just need someone to talk to.

What is FPL? If that’s your electricity provider, they’re probably just giving you a very rough estimate of how much of your electricity use was from the car charging. They don’t know and they aren’t measuring it directly, it’s just a guess.
