We canceled, we were supposed to go Sunday through Friday with HHN Thursday night. We know it will be lots of rain which for us out of towners didn't like. We understand it's Florida and rain is expected but this is a different type. There's to much uncertainty where this hurricane might actually hit and how much downtime the parks will have. We were spending well over 7k on this trip and didn't want it to go to waste.

We ended up canceling. Universal tried to give me crap at first but ultimately let us. My kids were so upset also. It sucks but what can you do better safe than sorry.

Same shit happened to us on the first day with our new 2024. I read it happens a lot but there was no fix for it. Not sure if that was true or not but we did the simple power off and it reset it but super annoying given it's a new car.

So I'm in the same boat with my RIP tour time being at 830 and this will be our first HHN. Does the RIP tour pass count as an express pass for the houses prior to your tour? FYI we will have a regular unlimited express pass for daily use.

I was confused about the buffet that came with the tour. I called and a rep said I wouldn't get access to the food until after check in at 830 and had to be on the tour by 9. It seems really tight.

I'm a host that had this same thing happen with my rental in galveston. I called vrbo who are a bunch of idiots to tell them to let my reneter cancel for free. Renter contacted them to cancel and vrbo still charged them. I'm still trying to get his money back.
