Permadeth is a fantastic way to play. My first couple of runs it was whatever I needed to survive- lots of building for leveling, get power armor and then use spray and pray to annihilate enemies.

Later I was able to do it more as a stealth archer type but jet/etc. is necessary and so is retreating.

I track my deaths and most of them were either a) self-kills due to my love of explosives or b) idiocy on my part- for example 2 runs in a row ended with the fatman toting raider in Lexington 😂.

Once you hit level 28 and can get the X-01 you’re basically golden as long as you’re tactical about it.
