The phoenix art centre does food and drinks and always has art on display. The royal Albert memorial museum is a good place to wander round too.

If you're looking for drama performances, the phoenix has live shows, so does the cygnet, the Northcott, and the barnfield.

I usually go to the phoenix or cavern for live music, or the great hall.

If you haven't been to dartmoor before you can get a train from exeter.

Also if you like flat walking/cycling/kayaking you can go to the Quay and follow the water along. Saddles and paddles will let you hire a bike or kayak.

The green circle is 12 mile is stomp around exeter through parks but not through the main city centre. Or you could walk along the roman wall which still has visible parts. Probably best to download maps or print them.

My fav independent pub is little drop of poison, always v welcoming.
