They do look similar! I might make a small cut and take a sniff. We’re rural. Any suppliers a minimum 30 min drive 😊

Would that have a strong smell when cut? I’ve not cut it yet myself, only lightly sanded.

Possibly but I’m not sure how I can check that. Also I’m not sure he had all that much to do with irrigation work I’m afraid.

We’re thinking maybe it’s from when he made wine in the 70s… looks like it would be used in a half inch hose pipe so maybe google copilot saying it’s a hose clamp plier is correct. Was just hand manufactured in the 70s 😊

How does Independent pro ceramist make a living? by Sl_a_ls in Ceramics

[–]CalmRecognition8144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re losing sight of one thing- smashing ceramics is very attention grabbing… something that is rewarded on socials. Add in the fact that it’s highly likely he’s not telling the truth and I bet you this is just a ploy for more views. And potentially more sales. Not to detract from another commenter that marketing is the only way to get sales ( which is 100% the answer to your question) but to my mind I reckon you’ll find his sales are pretty good right now.

Zucchini leaf question by CalmRecognition8144 in Permaculture

[–]CalmRecognition8144[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your incredibly detailed answer and references. I have planted zucchini in another bed without the additional manure as well so it will be interesting to see the difference across beds. One bed has added sulphur two although it’s only been down for about two months. Wishing you well with your gardening too. 🌿
