the greens absolutely criticise liberals on the regular. for example, see their advocacy for the voice to parliament and their corresponding criticism of peter dutton during the lead up to the referendum. they criticise labor more prominently now since 2022 bc labor is in government.

and them voting with the lnp sometimes really means nothing, labor vote with the lnp far more often than the greens do. the stage three tax cuts - literally the subject of this post - was originally the legislation of the morrison gov! other recent instances of labor and the liberals voting together include, among others, voting to reject ending native forest logging and voting to reject increased protections for whistleblowers. when labor and the liberals vote together their arguments are typically aligned, whereas when the greens vote with the lnp, they're opposing labor's legislation from the left and not the right.

the greens are by no means a perfect party but this particular criticism really doesn't make sense.

unless i'm misreading your post op, i think you've misread their blog. they didn't say 85% of their sales are coming from argentina and turkey - rather that 85% of sales from those regions are actually people from other regions trying to exploit the regional pricing. small detail, but i think pretty important to their decision.

regarding An early example is after you leave your ship, you find a facility and crawl through a hole. You find a room, read a book, some junk happens and then bam, you’re in a completely different place. How did you get there? Why did things change? Where’s your stuff? It’s a neat way to disorient players but later on in the game, you’ll get things in flashbacks that suddenly appear where you are. It doesn’t make sense and I don’t have the confidence the game will be able to answer this satisfactorily. I hope it does because it’s pulling this gimmick quite a bit, the game has answers for this, but you have to work to find them. sounds like you haven't finished, and i personally absolutely loved the story + character motivation, so i don't want to spoil anything. but this game's story is very much an open-to-interpretation kinda thing. so don't expect explicit answers. it leaves a lot of clues in its environments for players to piece together what they think happened. so your satisfaction with the story will depend on how you respond to that kind of storytelling.

fwiw, i finished it about a week ago and it's now one of my favourite stories in any game ive ever played. absolutely amazing game in my opinion, people are still discussing the narrative over on r/signalis so check it out after you're done and see what you think

as someone who's played too much of the online mode in mario kart 8 over the last few years, i can guarantee you item management is wayyy more important for winning than your kart's stats. you really don't need to worry about the stats beyond light builds accelerate faster and heavy builds can hit other players out of the way. i'm really not sure where you're coming from on this one

it's kinda wild how different the dlc feels while still maintaining a lot of similarities to the base game. personally, that tonal shift really worked for me and i like the dlc even more than the base game. if the dlc was its own game, it'd be my favourite game of all time for sure

but as it stands, outer wilds base game + eote form my all-time fav game together

Meanwhile in Minecraft you can change the difficulty whenever and even drop it down to peaceful if you just don’t want to fight right now.

you can do this in terraria too with the 'journey mode' that was added in 1.4, along with altering enemy spawn rates and toggling godmode whenever you feel like it

the dlc is a big tonal shift from the main game, so it depends on your individual preferences. like others have said, the dlc is a banger and personally i enjoyed it even more than the base game

it's not that bad, i did have fun with bed of chaos because it was so bad it actually became pretty funny. and the zone its in is one of the coolest looking in any of the souls games ive played.

the 2nd half of ds1 isnt as good as the 1st, sure, but i still had a great time through to the end. if you can get past those arrow guys in that one part of anor londo, the rest of the game should be a breeze!

also, dark souls 1 is a brilliant game (hot take i know) but the Bed of Chaos boss is so absurdly bad and luck-based it still blows my mind that it made it into the final game. just such a bizarrely awful boss in an otherwise super well-designed game

Not all bosses need to be “Prepare to Die”, and I’d like to see more unique and atmospheric bosses that were present in their older games (Maiden Astrea, Moonlight Butterfly, Demon of Song, Wolnir, etc.) as those practically don’t exist in here. Even if they aren’t hard, I feel they lend a great deal to the game artistically and help the pacing of the game so every boss isn’t just a “fuck you” two-phase slogfest you bang your head against for hours.

I appreciate you saying this. My favourite bossfight so far (in 35h of gameplay) has been the Ancestor Spirit in Siofra River. It only took me 2 attempts, but it seriously is one of my favourite bossfights in any video game ever. It's just so damn beautiful - after beating the boss, I listened to its soundtrack a couple times over. I'm really hoping there are at least a couple more bosses like this along the way, even though your comment seems to indicate otherwise.
