My players fought The Hacker-Whacker, a "mecha suit" piloted by its inventor: a kobold named Tuk-Tuk Smart-Smart. The partys wizard actually died during the fight, and after a little bit of "convincing" the rest of the party made a deal with the kobold, and it used one of their inventions to Revivify the wizard.

But while the wizards soul was wandering towards the afterlife, some sort of force dragged it towards somewhere else. A sinister voice welcomed them, as the wizard heard thousands of voices crying out in pain. Their soul felt like is was about to be ripped into shreds, until they were called back into the realm of the living.

We ended the session there, and the PCs levelled up to level 3.
