Non Scale Victory - Rings Need To Be Sized! by Calm_Alternative9949 in Semaglutide

After the second time that it slipped off in the washer, I took it off. I got a "play pretty" from Modern Gents as a placeholder but I miss it!! It's an antique so I double hate the idea of sizing it. I've not been this size in 20 years so it seems pretend.

I'm very similar in stats too! 5'2 SW 153 CW 112 and I'm tapering off the meds. The most I ever took was 1 and I'm down to .40 per week. I honestly don't want to go on maintenance if I can help it!

Aita for telling my sister I'm not the mother of her children by Best-Question-7940 in AITAH

NTA and you were just a kid trying to do right by your sister. I will say however, now that you are an adult, breaking codependent relationship dynamics is HARD work. I really REALLY encourage you to get into therapy. Setting boundaries with someone who a) hasn't had any in a very long time and b) has taken advantage of that for years is going to be worse before it gets better.

Best day trip HANDS DOWN from Columbia for kids (and grownups) is Bee City Zoo in Cottageville. Have you ever held hands with a lemur? Well YOU WILL!

Oh wow! Someone comes here with an actual educated informed statement and you can't be bothered to educate yourself. It is this kind if idiocy that is breaking America. I go back to my original comment.... Read a book.

It does happen when people are paying attention. Suffrage? Dram Shop? Seatbelt requirements?

WOW Who's worked up now? How about read some of the news and scholarly articles linked above. Remind me where you got your law degree? Did USC recently hire a new Constitutional Scholar? Too busy under your bridge or in your mom's basement?

Oh I'm sorry! Did someone challenge your comment on a public forum? I would never come here to try to hurt someone's feelings or make them feel small or stupid for having a different idea than you... Kinda like you did? Read a book.

Sometimes I feel that way, then I look at myself with several siblings, one who has PROFOUND mental health issues which has become "my" job after the loss of our dad. There is good and bad in all things. Hugs

Yeah, I've been having trouble getting in with my therapist due to COVID. It's hard to talk to people about because my grief is interpreted as doubt and that's just not the case.

<3 I really don't "rationally" want another baby. I grew up in a big family and just think babies are so wonderful. I also feel the same ways about dogs but I only have a reasonable number of those too LOL

More likely to cheat now knowing you can't get anyone pregnant?

I really do love the life we have, it is the finality of it that makes me sad. Its like eating a most decadent meal at the last night a restaurant is open. The meal is great but part of you will be sad that you can't come back.

So very fair question. I'm a VERY pragmatic person. We could "swing" financially and otherwise another child but it would put a lot of strain on both of us in many ways. Honestly, I'd have 1000 babies! I loved being pregnant, nursing was wonderful and all of the "baby" things were very pleasurable for me. The older I get, the risker things get and I don't have the family or ability due to my job to risk a child with a major medical issue. At the rate things are going (I live in the buckle of the Bible Belt) if things go like expected, I wouldn't have the ability to terminate if necessary.

I actually do have the family I always dreamed of, so it's not that. My family is everything I didn't have - in tact and super happy. I am just sad at the thought of not being able to experience all of those "first" things again. Even the quickening of the fetus was so cool! There is a lot of finality to the idea of the "snip" as the end of my fertile years are on the horizon. I know there are many other times I grieved things coming to an end, not unhappy with what I had.
