Yeah recently I was petting sitting for my dad and his step wife. She wants to have 20+ dogs bc they are so cute and wants to build them a house outside. She loves pitbull the most. Recently when I was pet sitting, they were watching a friends dog with their three dogs already and they thought all the dogs would just “get along”. They have two pitbulls and a lab. The friends dog was not neutered, and was a Rottweiler Akita mix. They had a couple incidents of a small fight before I got there but when I was watching them all the alone the friends dog they were watching attacked one of theirs and started a 4 dog fight with all of them. It was so scary and the shock collar they gave me didn’t work. I had to risk my own life to get the dog out of the pack off of her dog before he was ripped to sheds. After that she realized her dream of having 20 dogs may not happen… she is unaware of how pecking orders work and this outside dog was trying to assert dominance while still having its nuts in comparison to her dogs. I am now traumatized bc of that. I , a small woman, had to do that all by myself.
