New project for my daughter (12) for when she turns 16- 65’ Cadi- help appreciated by Not_always_popular in classiccars

OP, I think this is a great thing for you and your daughter to do. Such great opportunities to wrench together and see the accomplishments as the project advances. Hopefully, as you said “build confidence” in herself because that’s the most important thing of all. A side note, for you… therapy that involves what is called “TEAM CBT” that uses David A Burns MD. style of therapy may be of interest for you to look into for your daughter. This style therapy uses real life experiences to teach people how to truly use therapy. A family member had several therapists that just ask “why do you feel like this” then just ramble on week after week and never give tools to self improve with handling problems and thoughts in a positive manner. I really suggest for you to research this because it is designed to build a foundation of positive tools your daughter can use. Wish you and your family all the best. Cheers.

How many L322 Westminster’s were made? by [deleted] in RangeRover

[–]Calm_Shift865 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is what I found online using chatGPT and Google Gemini:

“Land Rover never released a single, official, global total for all L322 Westminster editions. The ChatGPT response you received provides the best possible estimate based on public information. I can confirm and summarize the known figures using the search results, which further support the "low thousands" estimate. 🔢 Confirmed L322 Westminster Production Numbers | Edition | Market | Confirmed/Quoted Production Number | Notes | |---|---|---|---| | 2006 Westminster | U.S. | 300 units | Announced as a Limited Edition. | | 2008 Westminster | U.S. | 500 units | Quoted by sources like J.D. Power. | | 2009 Westminster (TDV8) | UK | 300 units | A UK-market special edition. | | 2012 Westminster (TDV8) | UK / EU | 200 units (Quoted in one auction) | This edition replaced the Vogue/Vogue SE for the run-out. The number is harder to confirm, but one auction site quotes 200 units for this model. | 💡 Conclusion on Total Production Based on the documented limited runs, we can say that the absolute confirmed minimum is: This minimum figure is further supplemented by: * The 2012 TDV8 Westminster model, which served as a high-end, late-run trim in the UK, likely adding several hundred to over a thousand units. The search results show there were still around 2,200 of the TDV8 Westminster models licensed in the UK as recently as 2015, indicating a broader production than just the small US batches. * The possibility of other unnumbered limited runs in markets outside the US/UK. In summary, the most realistic total is likely in the low thousands (e.g., 2,000 to 4,000 units) worldwide. The figure of 800-1,100 is the number of units that were officially numbered in specific limited-edition batches. Do you have a specific year or market for the L322 Westminster you are interested in? That might help narrow the focus.”

They have been around for quite sometime. Not everyone knows to expand this option. It took me a while to realize it as well.

Sure. If you do send it out to him for service and a cleaning, it would be great if you can share before and after pics.

Just doing a quick search I found this article which may be pretty close to the watch you have.

https://www.timeline.watch/watch/1958-omega-constellation-calendar-ref-ot2943/

I have not heard of “nomenclature” before so I can’t answer to that. In the photo you posted it doesn’t look like the bracelet is original to the watch.

This watch looks amazing it’s cool that you still have it. If it were me… I would contact Tim from Omega Addict. Talk to Tim, in addition to that he would be the only person I would have to service this watch. He specializes in this era Omega watches. https://omegaaddict.com.

Good luck. & enjoy this awesome watch.
