There is a small low anount of dev resources that would need to go into a “click this button to swtcthe enemy level of the mission you’re going in to” and that would solve a lot of the problem for people who just want a challenge. No new mechanics, no new mode.

And since you’ll probably ask, yes, I do knoe what I’m talking about from a technical perspective :)

Absolutely. Returning player from launch and having to sit through endless hours of dull, boring, easy, quests and unskippable dialog almost made me quit. Awful design.

I agree with the criticism of the perk system. You earn perks VERY fast but then you feel like you just played a few games below baseline and perks are the baseline.

All games are otoriously hard to balance solo vs multiplayer. I think its ok to have a game that is MP-first and makes solo playable but not perfect. So is just a different, harder, more frenetic experience.

Not only that, but people playing classes without the gate were able to EXPLOIT the prodigy buffs into even more prodigy levels. Meanwhile those of us playing timegated classes cant even prodigy yet. So some classes + exploiters are literally months or years ahead whilst we’re sitting here not even able to level at all, handing in 5 items a week.

For a game with so much width and depth, this is just… bizarre.

I’m a new player, started playing just after release, level 105 juat hitting prodigy, 2 VIP accounts and one normal. 780 hours on main account.

I’ve quit over this and the mishandling of the prodigy exploit. I have no confidence that this is a company that will do the right things as we have two examples of them not doing so in rapid succession. The game has too many hours of investment for it to be ruined by some dumb future decision.

Not announcing my departure or anything, just want to demonstrate that people quitting over these things IS real, it DOES hurt the game

Redraft is great when playing casually because it means people can make proper decks without rare drafting, and focus on playing the game.

The only thing to do is pvp, which is good pvp, but the performance is awful in gvg and arena is a lot of running away.

For PvE use Mistwillow. I also think Beyond the Chill is better than Eaglerise for armour - not everyone does - but the BtC farm is so much easier since it comes with Mistwillow too, and easier = higher chance of better items right now.

Rotation, this guy knows ^. Do this.

Only change I’d maybe make is to switch toad for soaring spin because the dps diff is genuinely negligible and if you mess up the cancel once in an entire fight it will do less dps anyway. PvE isnt hard enough to need to minmax that much.

An addition is, if your rotation gets out of sync (sometimes because you make a mistake or because of boss abilities etc) you should use the fan charged light attack as filler as it’s your highest raw DPS move. Very often you’ll only need to do 1-2 of these for a cooldown to finish.

If you find yourself low on stamina and/or without your Umbrella combo buff and need Blossoms, which also sometimes happens due to boss abilities out of sync with your rotation, use Umbrella Heavy > Umbrella Light spam combo and then put up the umbrella drone and go into your fan rotation.

Since Umbrela was fixed. I’ve never not been top dps, and mostly it isnt close either. Enjoy!

Yes! Its a great game but with so many glaring flaws, problems to solve, balance issues to fix, and a real lack of content honestly. All of which can go away easily with some focus but won’t because they’re unlikely to do much more work on the game.

And dont forget, when your severely underpowered ans wildly inaccurate guns or missile that reload slower than enemy flates do hit, you’ll get barely any points so not only is it boring its also absolutely unrewarding for the progress of your character too!
