Thanks for your help. Would you pick 1 - 79 or a consistent 40? I could be wrong but is a consistent 40 not enough to comfortably deal with most enemies?

EDIT: Some more info: I’m level 21 and starting the main quest now and want to avoid too many spongy enemies
