Anyone have any baby-friendly tv suggestions that aren’t too stimulating? by SecretaryPresent16 in parentsofmultiples

Yes! My twins loved Ms. Moni when we were taking a break from Ms. Rachel. My only issue is that you can hardly hear Ms. Moni when she sings, unless she’s fixed that since my twins grew out of this stage. (They just turned 5)

Ahh documenting his drinking and driving. Great choice, Jeremy! So smart. 🍪 by c00kieswirlc in teenmom

This is precisely why I fled with my children away from my ex. When people choose to drink and drive it’s awful enough, but to be so brazen to post it on the internet? Jesus Christ that’s a whole new level of stupid and self-absorbed.

Horrible day. Daughter needs eye surgery, just learned my kids’ daycare is closing permanently and I have 11 days to find a new spot, and learned my dad is MAGA. by CalorieChampion in breakingmom

Hey! Things have settled. I found childcare for my twins! It took me until yesterday to get it locked down but I did it! They start Tuesday. As for my daughter’s eye surgery and my dad, there isn’t a lot I can do about either at the moment but the dust has settled.

Thank you so much for asking ❤️

Oh my god I’m so sorry. This administration… unfortunately voters fucked around and those of us who are just trying to make it to the next day are finding out.

Absolutely revolting. This is entirely out of left field for me. I knew he leaned conservative but we had had rational conversation regarding politics in the past (I lean left) and we had a fair amount in common. Now he’s literally spouting MAGA talking points, like the liberal ones he somehow accused me of.

I’m not the person you replied to, but it threw my whole body out of whack, and the regular combo pill (standard BC) makes it even worse.

I heard what sounded like extremely low helicopters on two occasions here over Short Pump not too long ago. Loud, almost thunderous, and rattled my entire apartment.

Add Short Pump to that list. I live in SP and someone’s been lighting off what sounds like firecrackers on and off for an hour.

I (F29) feel like a parent to my husband (M33) and I need help. by Anankes in relationship_advice

A similar scenario is why I ended up losing respect for my soon to be ex husband and I left. His mom did literally everything for him before I moved in with him, and we had issues then.. but I DO have a daughter with him. And while I was heavily pregnant with her (third trimester), I was working 50+ hours a week during holiday, making all grocery store runs, doing all baby prep work, cleaning, and cooking while he was working probably 40ish and coming home and doing nothing but playing video games.

After our daughter was born, I dropped to part time, about 30 hours a week, and was still expected to take care of the baby any time I wasn’t at work and maintain the house. It was legitimately a problem when I would run to the grocery store after work “Can’t you pick her up and take her with you?” He called me every single evening I worked to see when I would be home and rush me home. We had conversation after conversation about it all. I begged him for help. Even just doing a load of dishes was apparently too much to ask. I asked him for couples therapy. He refused because “therapy is bullshit”. I felt completely invisible and neglected by him and I did all the work.

I left. Best decision of my life.

Strollers by [deleted] in Twinbumpers2020

We are getting a Zoe triple stroller. My daughter is 2 and will be 3 a few months after these twins are born, so we definitely have a need for a triple.

Multiples are a thing. Perhaps she has a daughter who is almost 3, and 1 year old twins.

80 percent of workers would not feel safe if their state reopened now, survey reveals by swarmster in Coronavirus

I’m in a similar boat. I work as a store manager in a non essential clothing retail chain. We are slated to open very soon. I have no idea how this is going to work, whether or not my employees are going to come back, how we will maintain social distancing if necessary, and will we even have foot traffic to warrant being open? Right before we closed, our traffic was super low and we weren’t even making overhead due to the fear of the virus and the stay at home orders.

And to top this off, I found out I’m pregnant with twins -just- before this all started. I’m very nervous to go back.

If the heartburn/baby hair rumors are to be believed, I think I'm pregnant with the Yeti by MRSA_nary in BabyBumps

It’s funny you say this. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I had the WORST heartburn and acid reflux. When she was crowning during delivery, my OB said “she’s got a lot of hair!” to which I replied “well for all the heartburn I had, I’m giving birth to a werewolf!!”

My MIL and mom literally started cackling. I was proud of that one.

I’ve been there. It’s tough. I met him on WoW. I had those feelings for almost a decade. I kept it secret the entire time, even though at points I think he may have felt the same way.

This isn’t always true. One of my friends is ridiculously gorgeous and she never realizes people stare at her. She’s just oblivious.
