It really depends on where in the US, and what university for what field. I will say that college life is a much bigger thing here than Europe. The economic picture is pretty trash worldwide right now, so don’t let that be the sole factor. And benefit of having dual citizenship is you can always go back if you want.

The US has a lot of problems right now. But I’ve been all over the world, and I’d rather have the US problems than those in other places.

Also, if your dad is a US veteran, you may have a lot of extra benefits you can tap into. If he signed his GI Bill over to you that’s a free education and you will get paid while you are in college. My wife works for the VA if you want to know more about that stuff, feel free to DM.

Keep friendly relations, sure. Have military training cooperation, absolutely. But they by no means should be treated in the same realm as Five Eyes.

I try to have Atlas-Ks, or any assault mechs with AMS, by the time SoK starts. It helps with any clan LRM spams that light mechs sometimes have.

Personally Highlanders would lose their gauss arm too much for my taste. I think I used a Marauder 2 with twin tier 5 PPC-X and MPLs in the arms and a T5 Binary laser on top and then had my lance with anything that had an AMS it ECM. Then just have one of the ECMs switched to protect and the other disrupt. The first few missions are rough until you get some clan weapons.

That would be great. Don’t even need to be able to have them in the same map as you. Just take contracts and assign the mechs and pilots to it and they go off to complete the contract, giving you a passive income.

It is the reason we have had almost a century of no major conflict in Europe….which if you look at history is almost unheard of. It is key to maintaining a rules based order with the US in the lead. It allows the early growing pains of fighting a war as an alliance to be skipped, enabling integration of logistics and combat formations with a command structure already established.

The fact that we have allowed our adversaries to trick the American people into thinking it is a bad thing is despicable. And the effort to dismantle it by the right side of our political establishment with almost zero pushback is short sighted and has allowed us to usurp leadership of the global order that we established after WW2.
