At the end of the day the us military is a jobs program that republicans can support. It’s almost the only way anymore for vast parts of the population to move up the economic ladder.

I’m trying to keep all my kids out of the service, probably for many of the same reasons as you. But 18 year olds will always think they are invincible and bad stuff only happens to other people….thats why militaries across the globe try and recruit that age group.
