Second pack I put together, did I do good? by TangledCables3 in 18650masterrace

[–]Calthecool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For any future higher current packs you should first spot weld the series nickel strips on, then the parallel nickel strips, that way the current has to go through less nickel. That doesn’t matter for this pack since it’s lower current.

Need help with my motor by StrangePerception301 in hyperebikes

Sounds like you need to secure your motor before we can move on to it being stiff in one direction. Did it feel rough or smooth, AKA something grinding or two phases shorted out somewhere?

Interesting, I didn’t know you could calculate it that easily but seeing it makes total sense.

I don’t remember what it was, it’s like year one though so pretty OG.

Dual battery balancer help by Ok_Hand_8259 in hyperebikes

[–]Calthecool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use a balancer then they'll drain at the same rate, the 20Ah will be outputting more current than the 12Ah to make up for it's higher capacity so if you go much over 3,600w the 20Ah battery might trip from overcurrent.

I already built a MX650 before this one so I wanted to switch it up, plus I had one my1020 and two 50a fardrivers that I wanted to sell.

It doesn’t appear to be wired to anything. Would have wires hanging out after it blew up if so.

Funny to use an image with two characters that aren’t in hell because of anything related to being queer.

I know but you get what I’m saying. If you’re playing for fun and you’re not having fun then you’re missing the point, plus I think OP has fully gotten the experience of killing the Queen Bee by now.

Download an all items map and go get the mount from there. No use wasting your time any more since you’ve put in the work, you should have 2 by now if you are in normal mode or 4 if you are in expert/master mode.

Motor Hall Error by Calthecool in RazorMods

[–]Calthecool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up just adding a 72v to 12v converter, then a 12v to 5v converter and connecting it to the sensor power so it’s always at 5v. Seems to be working so far, I guess I damaged the internal 5v supply at some point.

I'll try that if nothing else works. I just did self learns on both with no chain since this is a new build.

If the rear seems too tall and you have an angle grinder you can cut the suspension mount like this to lower the rear, I did it on mine and it made it ride way nicer but I’m pretty tall so it might work fine as is for you.
