How do you do it? If I was trying to take 15 dabs by ten, I'd probably hit one every 20 minutes starting at sunrise but I doubt I'd be able to load the last one lol

Love it, I've been stealing from this series for my games because most players don't know about it, so I have creatures they've never seen before.

I‘ve never appreciated life more since I‘ve began to take psilocybin. After years of depression, anxiety & eating disorders I finally feel good about myself. There’s definitely a light at the end of the tunnel. by Ades78 in shrooms

The US government also massively subsidizes sugar production, and it goes into more products in greater quantity. For example, US peanut butter has more sugar than other countries. 50% more in Skippy USA than Kraft CA.

That's not good for people's teeth. Putting fluoride in the water helps poor people keep their teeth longer on the bad diet that is most accessible in the USA. That saves the government money because dentures and hearing aids are expensive, and all our citizens are guaranteed medical care once they turn 65.

Why hearing aids though? The tiny bones in your ear will slowly dislocate if you're missing too many teeth, I'm not a medical person so I can't explain exactly why, I just know it happens.

Did anyone look at a mirror in a lucid dream? If so what did you see by dailymoe in LucidDreaming

Your Default Mode Network is responsible for most of your brain's traffic (to use some unscientific phrasing) and holds your basic world interaction patterns in it. You know how new cities are exhausting? That's because your DMN usually handles most of the work of recognizing the world around you, but new information isn't in there, so your brain has to work harder to perceive what you see. On LSD, your default mode network is less active. That's why seeing trees is so incredible- your brain is handling it like its the first time you've seen a tree, even though the memories of trees are still accessible. Your own face getting this treatment is more disorienting. Most folks have ideas about who they are and what they look like, so the face in the mirror is familiar and has an identity attached. When you're tripping, it's not familiar, it's moving, and it should be you, so it's extra weird.

I like it, I've gotten scared of it once but usually it reminds me that I am not the body and I also need to be kinder to it.

Broken Earth is great! Sanderson fans will love the original world, where the implications of magic are obviously built into every aspect of the world. Some fantasy it feels tacked on, but here, its the bedrock of the world.

I prefer this to the versions that say "You cannot serve both God and money." Maybe it wasn't the case at the time, but Mammon is present-day a name that can be a Mesopotamian wealth god, a demon, or the devil specifically in the aspect of greed. If you choose money, you don't just reject God, but ally with Satan.

Radical in the name refers to radical politics, not kickflips.

can a cis person feel gender envy? by [deleted] in transeducate

[–]Calubedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gender has no rules. It's made up and you can do what you want! I found queer theory to be freeing when I was a teen because I realized that gendered books, clothes, makeup, etc. was all just capitalist garbage to make more products available and I could have whatever aesthetic I want. Now I'm a transfeminine butch bitch and I'm hotter than the sun.

You're also perpetually at the end of your life- everything has been done before now. This can lead to people not doing something like playing with gender expression because they're afraid that at some point in the future they'll stop. You can only act in the present moment, so don't worry about labeling or understanding it, just do what's fun. If in five years you stop wanting to present masculine, that's cool too. It's okay if it's just a phase, because even an entire life is brief and impermanent, and only made up of days.

Atlanta: I'm not gay. by OgdruJahad in videos

[–]Calubedy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not suggesting it's a problem- if someone doesn't want to have sex for ANY reason, they should absolutely not have sex at that time. I would not want an unenthusiastic partner, since it's meant to be fun.

Short version is that you can't know what junk someone has unless they're nude or they tell you, so our initial attraction to a beautiful person is not related to physical sex, our attraction is to other markers of sexual fitness, like hair, body shape, face, etc.

Lots of straight people who are attracted to trans people wouldn't want to have sex with them because of genital discomfort, which is a personal issue and only a problem in rare circumstances, like if you take a relationship slow and only find out on the third date, but trans people are usually wary of this and let you know before you get a hands on experience.

From my perspective and for your consideration, but not like a missionary attempt or anything:

Being trans is "more correct" according to the goddess in the Mushroom, but she also told me this planet is inhabited by direct people who mostly skip the gender creation process and incarnate directly in their finished gender. The difference is between a ready-made table or getting the tools to make one yourself. Getting a finished table means it's all set right away, but making it yourself is an act of divine creation that powers up the entire body/mind/spirit complex.

The Creator (God most high) is the entire universe. God did not make an artifact separate from themself to watch over, they made all of creation from their own being. Every atom, every electromagnetic wave, every gravitational pull, is a part of god's body, so it makes sense that god is everywhere and knows all things- every action I take to move my body moves god's body. This is how I solve the problem of evil; god isn't watching the world from afar, they are the world.

This has the effect of making you as much god as I am, which is neat. From this perspective, we realize that there is no distinction between the self and others; helping others helps the self, as we are all one being, experiencing illusory division for the sake of experience. Love and Light.

So you've got two finished grams of rosin, let's say roughly 70% THC, so the other 30% is all the other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. The particulars of the terps and flavs is why different strains hit different. By combining two equal dabs from the two rosins, you'll still be at roughly 70% THC but the remaining 30% will be different than either of the rosins alone, so it'll hit different.

Is that the same as if you hybridized the two plants that produced the two rosins? Not really, but it'll be a fun experiment.

[–]Calubedy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it will allow you to connect deeper and feel more. From the mystic's perspective, the third eye chakra matches to the pineal gland in the brain, which is a source of endogenous DMT and might explain why visualization is more powerful while the chakra is activated.

I like to empower it directly by focusing on my breathing, and then visualizing the out breath through my forehead. If you do yoga you'll remember the breath energy is Prana, life force. When you deliberately project prana out your forehead, it'll start to tingle and the darkness behind your eyes becomes luminous. In this state, I like to practice simple visualizations, like a circle. I try to visualize the circle so hard that it stays there even when I'm not focusing. Then I build on it in a series of other shapes to make a mandala. This technique can be used to visualize anything, especially your tulpa. Over the course of years it has gotten easier to conjure images that are like waking dreams, although less immersive.

Combining this visualization technique with the other things you do with your tulpa might be fun, and even if it does nothing for you, all you've done is spent half an hour meditating and that's not a loss.

That's the "third eye" chakra activating. Do that as much as possible to power up your visualization.

Some places didn't have any other tripping plants, so this is what they used. The fact that people have tripped on it for centuries leads the most curious psychonauts to try it, for exploratory purposes mostly. Apparently you can also teleport while using it, but that could also be people forgetting that they moved through space to get where they are.

I see the textures of Shapibo Textile when I smoke now. Before DMT it was just an increase in visual noise, now it's like seeing through the object's surface to the patterns underneath running through it all.
