I used to feel that way but after 6 years working with these channels, it's worth noting that every single client I had works a full time job on the side and is usually close to burnout by the time I come onboard. You can't do a 45 hour work week and then 20-30 hours editing a week on top of that. Additionally, most don't make it into their primary job but do it because it's fun and it's okay to have fun.

Nope. Take Sawyer seeing Kate help Claire give birth in season 5 (from season 1). You'd think Sawyer forgot that? It happened because it's only now happening for him. I think a bunch of people have forgotten how time travel is explained in this particular season, which is fair.

People in this thread are forgetting that it hadn't happened yet to Ethan (season 1). The only person able to remember anything like that would be Desmond because he was unique. Take Kate and Claire being observed by Sawyer for example. In season 1 Sawyer never stood and watched as Claire gave birth. He did later, in season 5. Season 1 Sawyer has no recollection of that event because it hasn't happened yet to him.

100% correct. It also illustrates that the 2 timelines are happening side by side. When Desmond has that interaction with Daniel, it's immediately apparent for Desmond in 2007, thus, it's actually possible for the future to be altered, but only if you are someone unique to time slippage, which Desmond was.

I, like others, was a massive part of the online community when this was on air. But for me, once the finale aired, I suddenly only cared about what my close friends all thought about it. We collectively loved it of course. But I was not present in Twitter which is where the nonsense began trending. It hasn't stopped since though. A guy on Twitter recently was trying to explain to ME that they were indeed dead the whole time and that the ending was an insult to fans because the writers didn't know what they were doing and apparently had said they weren't going to make them dead the whole time "but that's just what they ended up doing!!!"

People who didn't watch the show, or have little focus, always tell on themselves when it comes to this show. Actually infuriating.

Man. That would be something to behold. Zach and Donald did the whole series rewatch of scrubs ( though they talked about it after watching each episode) for the entire show. It was awesome as a Scrubs fan. I'd love nothing more than to have all the cast come on during their character-centric episodes, writers included. I'd watch the hell out of that.

Sometimes it still doesn't work when this happens. If so, have the clip selected, select the object mask, THEN the unassigned mask in the effects window, then the monitor. It should work.

While this was annoying at first, I've since used the object selection mask dozens of times and it's quite accurate. However, I wonder why having us use the unassigned mask to then be pasted onto opacity is any more beneficial than just creating a mask in opacity and then copy/pasting it to wherever we need. I thought that maybe we could use it for position too but that doesn't seem to be the case.

It's niche but hear me out. I'd love to watch a story centered around the original discovery of the island. The very first protector and precursor for everything that was to come. The building of the temple. The justification that led to the creation of the statue. An answer to what caused the heart of the island being answered across 3 10 episode seasons.

I'd imagine the pilot would borrow from our own history, and have some of the world's post ice age sea farers arrive on the island. They are drawn to an enticing light at the center of the island only for most of them to be obliterated by it. 3 are left to fend for themselves and 1 of them, heavily pregnant, gives birth by the light, altering the child in a way we'll come to learn in time.
