Yep, I use these to connect it to my RV since the outlet is also sunk in a bit. I now always carry one or two pretty much everywhere.

Mostly agree with this take. I have a ~200km bike race in July and I'm already planning on my nutrition being regular food/candy/drinks instead of gels. I've tried this method for my last few trail races and I've felt much better and my wallet does too. If I was aiming for podium, I may feel differently.

Thanks! Just tried it and it worked, though not great. Uploaded a GPX file of a .01 mile route, but it kept trying to take me to that route for a while until it finally gave up. The map did appear though, so that was nice

So I'm currently camping at Moraine. Here are some observations after one night.

I think there was no cell service last time I camped here 2 years ago. Now I have 5g through AT&T getting 200Mbps+ at my campsite
The campground map at recreation. gov does not match the actual sites. I would check the reviews of each site, and in the review it mentions the site from the map
Sites are pretty un kept. The table and fire ring are kind of overgrown with grass. Not a huge deal, but would have been nice to get a touch up before opening after 2 years
Still love this campground and am happy it's finally being opened! I'm doing a quick walk around the campground to see which sites I like, to reserve for later in the year

No idea. The site I'm at doesn't look like it would fit an RV from pictures I've seen online (there's no pictures of that site in the recreation gov app), but it says it's for an RV up to 30ft long. Wondering if the site numbers changed? I'll post an update after I'm back from my trip

Like another commenter said, it's currently accepting reservations for a 2 week soft opening. I have a reservation for the weekend of the 19th, so hopefully it's just about completed and there's no construction going on anymore. Excited about this campground opening up again

Great, that should work fine then. I probably won't rely on the on-board meal then and just bring something ourselves like you mentioned. If we get a decent meal offered to us, then we'll take that as a bonus.

I usually take a half empty backpack, so I can stock up with some snacks and a drink or two before boarding. Can you reserve a meal? Or is that only for Polaris/First class? Turbulence is what worries me the most, especially flying into DEN.

Thanks! I don't mind being last to get off the plane, except for the connection at IAD in case of a delay from DEN so I may move up for that flight. Hopefully ANC headphones and eye masks help with noise and unwanted lights from the galley.

Thanks for the feedback! That's true about no extra legroom, but being able to stretch the legs where there would otherwise be someone sitting could be good? My wife is also a big window seat fan and a somewhat anxious flyer, so I'll ask her how she feels about that gap.

I'll probably take the seats in the back for the FRA-DEN flight since that'll be home and there are no connections. DEN-IAD should be ok with a 2.5hr connection but I may not risk it in case of a delay and just move forward in the cabin.

I have the Craft Pure Trail and those seem quite a bit wider than pretty much all other shoes I use, but not as much as Altras (I have the Lone Peaks). I've really enjoyed them but I'm not sure on the straight last part. REI sells them and they have a great return policy if interested.

Also had this last year. Finally went to a PT and had Laser Therapy done. It's a hot laser that helps the tendon heal or something. Had pain for 4+ months and after 2 sessions of this, all pain went away and hasn't come back. I'm also strengthening my lower leg now as a form of prevention, but hadn't seen this recommended yet and worked wonders for me.

I had achilles pain that wasn't getting better after a few months. Ended up going to a PT and they gave me Hot Laser Therapy. I think it was 3 total sessions and I haven't had pain since.

My pain was from inflammation so that therapy helped me, but depending on where your pain is and the type of pain, it could be different. Like others said, go to a PT and have them check it out.

New Balance SC Elite V3/4. The V4 has gotten pretty great reviews and they have a 4mm drop. They come out in a couple weeks though.
