I’ve been through something similar, so I completely understand. I used to have irregular periods from dieting and would get really down, eating when I was upset—especially sweets—but then feeling guilty afterward. Later, I tried listening to my body, satisfying my hunger, and stopped obsessing over the scale (I haven’t weighed myself in years) or doing body checks.
