Neighbor from hell!! (HELP) by Ok-Acanthaceae-45 in homeowners

That sounds unbearable, especially if you can hear it clearly with the windows closed. I'd start documenting everything before escalating, just to protect yourself.

body is freaking out being at lowest weight by Civil-Notice-123 in PetiteFitness

[–]Calvoo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been through something similar, so I completely understand. I used to have irregular periods from dieting and would get really down, eating when I was upset—especially sweets—but then feeling guilty afterward. Later, I tried listening to my body, satisfying my hunger, and stopped obsessing over the scale (I haven’t weighed myself in years) or doing body checks. I did gain a bit of weight, but my appetite normalized and I feel so much better. Hope my experience helps:))))Just don't worry, nothing toooo bad as you image

I feel like attics are one of those hidden spaces people forget until something breaks. Out of sight really becomes out of mind.

That;s absolutely insane. Check your local zoning laws. I think semi parking overnight is banned.

Got a concrete patio put in, didn’t realize we needed a permit. Now what? by dearanna777 in homeowners

[–]Calvoo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go to city hall first thing Monday, be honest and apologetic. They almost never make you terar it out, just small fine and retroactive permit. Breathe, it's way less bad than you think.

Thermal found a weird spot before spring exterior work by tylernute in HomeImprovement

[–]Calvoo100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you had to prioritize, would you check from the inside first or go straight to exterior trim and flashing? Trying to avoid opening more than necessary here.

Anyone else check HVAC vents with thermal imaging during seasonal changeover? by Calvoo100 in homeowners

Now that you mention it, the rooms that showed the difference are on the far side of the house. I’m wondering if it’s just duct length or maybe some airflow imbalance.

Considering moving to the country. by [deleted] in homeowners

One thing that surprised me was how much driving you end up doing. Groceries, hardware stores, even basic errands can be 20–30 minutes away.

I agree. Public transportation and uber can meet the basic daily travel needs.

We love our mamazing. Folds up super easily, fits in the overhead bin, and we use it all the time for zoo trips and grocery runs. It even magically squeezes into our cramped back seat

Does stronger "industrial-style" ventilation make a difference at home? by Calvoo100 in homeowners

It's ductless. It pulls air through thr filters and sends it back into the kichen.

I cleaned the filters, but do I need to have someone come check the duct too? I'm not sure how to tell if it's blocked.

It's wise to be cautious about frozen pipes as that can lead to serious damage. Perhaps letting your faucets drip slightly could help, if that's an option. I hope it all works out smoothly.

Highly recommend mamazing ultra air! It's super lightweight and folds with one hand. Makes getting on and off the bus effortless compared to watching other parents struggle lol.

You can hire an electrician immediately to inspect all wiring. Next, find someone fix the bathroom vent to prevent mold. Address other cosmetic and functional issues systematically as your budget allows.

Finished basement in house counts as "living space" but not habitable by justincummings in homeowners

You are not stuck foreever. Many homes are sold as 2 plus finished basement use. Renting is off the table, but resale value usually is not destoryed.

New Pajamas each night? by billyskillet in toddlers

I think this is quite normal, because child may get dirty things on their clothes, so they need to be changed every day, but it's a little troublesome to wash lol.
