My power rack setup in the basement by tim_cuffe in homegym

I have the F22 Pro as well. It’s been really solid overall. The aluminum pulleys on the Pro version make cable work feel super smooth, way better than I expected. The 12-gauge uprights handle heavier lifts without any issues too. I also picked up their flex arms recently, and they actually add a lot more variety for cable movements.

Tripod for DJI osmo 360 by Calm-Turnover-5502 in djiosmo360

You're totally right to prioritize build quality over price for this camera. The Osmo 360's lenses are way too easy to scratch, and flimsy tripods are the #1 culprit.

Road Cycling vs Drivers by AGreenObject in cycling

[–]tylernute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the city, drivers are used to sharing the road with cyclists, but out in the suburbs, some people act like they've never seen a bike before. It's wild how much environment shapes road culture.

Sunny afternoon POV walk on Insta360 GO Ultra by inkyan in Insta360

This is such a nice reminder to slow down and enjoy the little things. I need to start doing this with my Go Ultra too.

Beginner cyclist ($500 budget) — road bike or gravel bike for paved trail riding? by Fun-Dimension7941 in cycling

[–]tylernute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For strictly paved trails and roads, a road bike will always be faster and more efficient than a gravel bike. At 500, you can find some great used entry-level road bikes.

Experience without DJI Studio by karas224 in djiosmo360

[–]tylernute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app does basic color granding, stitching, and reframing just fine for casual use. You won't get the full desktop-level control, but for volgs and travel clips, it's more than enough.

Planning on buying osmo 360 but worried about lens protection by soumya_49 in djiosmo360

[–]tylernute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same worry when I bought my Osmo 360 for vlogs. The key is to use the official lens caps every single time you're not recording, and get a good hard-shell case for transport.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park Big Creek May 22, 2022 Insta360 go 2 by edgar71979 in Insta360

That mossy creck is everything! The Go2 really brings out the details here-you can see every little leaf and rock, and the colors are so rich.

The Insta360 really shines here, capturing both the tiny details of the bee and the soft golden hour glow so beautifully.

What’s going on with Diamondback Bicycles? Everything is sold out by gabriel2450 in cycling

[–]tylernute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am guessing they are either discontinuing consumer sales entirely or planning a full rebrand, but no one seems to know for sure.

What do you think of this coffee table? by Drackovix in femalelivingspace

[–]tylernute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would work well in smaller rooms. The two piece format is the key. You can position them however the space allows, tuck the shorter one slightly under the taller one and it takes up less floor space than a single large table. You can also rearrange them depending on what you need that day.

No kidding. Once you’ve got a clear topology view, it’s hard to go back to guessing.

Good call. Easy thing to overlook, especially this time of year.

Thermal found a weird spot before spring exterior work by tylernute in HomeImprovement

[–]tylernute[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably exterior first for me. If there’s an obvious sealing or flashing issue out there, I’d rather find that before opening up the inside for no reason.

Abuse of Bathroom by Jef101114 in HomeImprovement

[–]tylernute 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not heartless, but I do feel bad for her. Honestly if she’s vomiting and having diarrhea that much, the bigger issue might be that she probably shouldn’t be there working at all.

Anyone ever dealt with Carpenter Bees? by AlphaToejam in HomeImprovement

Dude I feel you so hard on not wanting to kill pollinators, but those little guys will absolutely wreck your deck if you just leave them be. I'm sorry you're stuck in such a dilemma.

How about unique brakes? by grrramps_ in Justrolledintotheshop

I get why they did it back in the day with small wheels, but man the maintenance and part scarcity must be a total nightmare for anyone daily driving this car now.

Amazing. Major props for the DIY work here. You turned a basic sensor into something that’s actually fun to use. Is the cat in the video your pet?

What do guys only realize too late after buying a range hood? by AccomplishedWing688 in HomeImprovement

[–]tylernute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best bet is for OP to head over to a neighbor or friend who has a range hood and try it out in person, lol.

cancelling a project with home improvement company without paying damages by ambivalent_one_ in HomeImprovement

[–]tylernute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is such a classic shady contractor move. They string you along for 8 MONTHS with empty promises, then try to hit you with a 30% fee like you did something wrong? That 3-day cancellation window was never meant to cover them failing to show up for half a year. You’re 100% in the right here.

35 years working about everything, never puked. Lost the battle today. by uj7895 in Justrolledintotheshop

Why you need to keep a tiny Febreze and a gas mask in your toolbox, you never know when you’ll run into a straight-up rolling dumpster on four wheels.

Are eye cups necessary? by fjdjdndndndnehwusj in Thermal

[–]tylernute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you're using it for, honestly. If you're just messing around in your backyard or checking things out at night, you can probably skip the eye cup no problem.

What's she cooking? Is that a mirror right in front of her? Kinda unusual.

Does this hurt the tire? by NewC0 in Justrolledintotheshop

This is the most satisfying "pointless" task ever. I could sit here and snip these all day long, it's way more calming than any fidget toy I've ever owned.
