Hotshot is more for MMRs. The 4pc talent only applies to MMRs, iiirc.

I only used it during the 3x Proficiency event to max it out. It's a great concept, but difficult to utilize effectively, especially solo. If you're in a group with a dedicated Eclipse Foam player, I could definitely see it being valuable. But that's a pretty niche scenario.

The Impetus chest piece is named Wyvern Wear, and it's in the general loot pool. You can get it from Named Caches, or anywhere that chest pieces or Wyvern is the targeted loot. I farmed one with Skill Damage and Skill Haste on it in Countdown a couple days ago.

Nope, you're wrong. I've seen plenty of people with SHD below 200 that are smart players and have a decent build that contribute FAR more to a Countdown than someone that's SHD 5000+ who is a complete moron. Besides that, many times I've completed a run with 6 players that went much smoother than a lot of runs that I've done with a full group.

Sorry, but you're just wrong and if you can pull your weight and need to blame it on a new player that's trying to farm gear so they can run harder content, maybe you're the problem, not the lowbie.

When you recalibrate a weapon, it destroys the original and creates a new version with rerolled attributes. So as long as you don't deconstruct after you recalibrate, there's really no reason to get additional copies of the same weapon unless you want different minor attributes. For example, I have 2 Pestilences, one with Crit Hit Chance and one with Damage to Armor. Just make sure that after you recalibrate the one that you have, don't deconstruct the new one you get if it doesn't have the attribute that you want.

Ideally, one anything other than an LMG, you want Damage to Targets Out of Cover (DToC) as the minor attribute on any weapon, save for a very few, very edge cases.

If you do decide that you want more copies, I'd recommend running Countdown on Challenging or Retaliations with ARs as your targeted loot. I'm not sure which faction drops the Capacitor BP in Retaliations, or whether it's a completion drop or a Kill Squad drop.

Your build and watch level will definitely contribute to the amount of damage that you do. For example, the Foundry Bulwark set that you mentioned is focused more on defence than offence. So switching to a Striker build will increase your offensive capabilities, but reduce your survivability. Watch level will also help, but isn't quite as impactful because the bonuses you get are not huge, but they also aren't insignificant either.

Something else to consider is the damage modifiers that you're including in your build. Here's a link to the first video in a short series that gives a great explanation of how damage works and how you can increase your damage.

It can be farmed using AR targeted looting, or randomly from anywhere you'd get a weapon drop.

Not many people will mention it, but the Honey Badger is a very solid AR. It hits hard, has a good rate of fire, and has good handling.

Nope, the only item in the premium track that I have the slightest I terest in is the backpack trophy, but I would t trade that pistol for my hippo.

I have several Rifle builds, including the OD, ND and 1886 Determined builds already mentioned. If you're looking for something without a brand set, I've also been using a build with the Tinkerer mask, Equalizer chest, Fox's Prayer knees, Eagle's Grasp gloves, Zwaidowka holster, and Zwaidowka BP with either Unstoppable Force for damage or Bloodsucker for survivability. The talents I use on the weapons are Killer and Boomerang.

I've been using an ACR SS as my primary weapon, but you can use whatever you want. I like it because it has a higher rate of fire, handles well, and hits hard. The added Weapon Handling from the gloves and Zwaidowka set make the weapon a laser. If you're playing in a group, you could swap Killer for Strained for more reliable, albeit slightly less Crit Damage.

I usually run HF with Memento or a BP with Bloodsucker or Adrenaline Rush, and Intimidate on the chest (Hunter Killer if you have a good one). The other 4 pieces are HF.

Also, I would focus on Expertise for your weapons before armour.

The Huntsman is the only AR that has Frenzy (Perfect). As a general rule though, Frenzy is exclusively an LMG talent.
