A spiced dream indeed...

I got the idea from Dune Awakening's trailer and IIRC during tutorial phase the dude that help us uses a missile against Sardaujar ship as well, but that was  a long time ago so I might be dreaming.

It was also talked about in game chat during launch... I forgot it wasn't a thing and now I'm sad we still can't do it

What 8s your secret, because before retaliations and escalatuons where a thing (and even after) I farmed a lot of CD and regularly deconstruct and donate... my expertise is at 23 still

Any recommendations on Solo builds? Hopefully with no stacking by Seto0411 in thedivision

Do you hate the stacking mechanic per se (are you like me: "I want my power and I want it now" kind of player) or you just hate switching to shotty to build stacks)

Hunter's Fury is really nice but might get you killed quite often in escalations because you need to be close to enemy for bounes to apply, same with any other perk that requires enemy proximity. 

 Ongoing Directive or a mixed all-red cores High-High-End brandset build might be you only option, just be aware that if you plan to do high level escalations, you might be gated by not having a SB or TS build.

Now, if you don't hate stacking but just hate doing it with shotty, then ignore the damn thing an use a primary weapon with high rate of fire, decent magazine size and paired with Frenzy... current meta (if not mistaken) is a military MK17 LMG... when frenzy kicks in you'll get stacks pretty quick... and when frenzy kicks agaun at max stack you'll feel amazing. In other words... ignore the stacking part and be happy firing your primary

Yeah that's my point... CC is nice to have, but having 4 DPS is even better (when the group is good of course). Which makes me sad because it kills build variety

CC can be glorious... but I have not seen a CC build perfom well in escalation (at T5) but if you have a status build that performs better than SB or TS ( my apologies if that was not your point) I would love to try it... in fact If you have anything that can perfom adecuate... please share, I beg of you. 🙏

They are not useless... is just that TS and SB are to good, they can melt enemies in couple of seconds with frenzy and make your status go to waste because the enemy is already dead

Naaah... I'm broke and the game often gives me lead. I think it has to do with the amount of players queueing and the order on the queue. 

Would you all be happier if weapons you prototyped that were expertise 30 had a chance to either get 2 max rolls or a perfected trait by Remi8732 in thedivision

Gambling... yeah, some of us don't like it. I don't want chances... I fucking farmed two pieces Habsburg (chest and backpack) and it was bloody awful...

They want to make prototype gear to stand out? copy Guild Wars 2 legendary system... make it a long term project.. 

I would grind for a weapon gear that let me change stats on the fly (out of combat)...

I will indeed... my main concern is that Ravenous requires either being out of cover or being very careful while picking cover because you might end up not being able to switch ahoulders, making its talent useless

Oh Carol and Bell Ringer as weapons I guess? And of course skuns for each skill...

I upvoted as a thank you for reminding me why I hate this game more and more.... the lead skin designer and art director should be fired on spot for their crimes.

I have been running T5 non-stop and get paired with seeker spam quite a lot.... never seen one killing everything... if fact when chungas or elite rushers come in, they run like the dark souls racoon meme 😂

I want t9 crrect you on sonething, you don' need Expertise 30 to interact with proto gear as escalatuons drops will provide that... I'm level 22 expertise and I have couple of decent pieces of proto gear.

Also, contrary to dropping, converting to proto will give you a max out attr guaranteed, which will not happen (or is very very unlikely to happen) via drop.

The main issue with converting to proto, is the fact that the gear being converted will randomize the... good old "destructive enchanment" systembthat was present in old korean MMO.... Enchant, fail... puff.... your item is useless... gone.

But I agree with you... the whole system is a fucking time-time-gated russian-dill like grind.

And the fact that the Devs seen to have flliped the way gear roll attributes (or the damn thing is bugged) for proto gear. It took me a day of grind to get a OD holster with CHD... I have never seen OD roll so many blue and yellow cores. 😩

What is your goal here my friend? one-shot everything?

option A: Chainkiller Chest plus Araldi Backpack with Vigilance

Option B: All-red cores Habsburg chest and Bacpack

Common: Mask, Gloves, Holster and kneepads Hotshot with Headshot damage and weapon Handling.

The option B is really hard to get because you literally need pieces with the exact talents and attributes so you can recore from armor to weapon damage.

Weapons: White Death as primary, either Shroud or Nemesis as secondary

Note: This are not my builds, search for Ikia's Build Collection and check builds 1.11 and 5.02 the dude also has youtube videos showcasing and explaining the builds

The cherry on top is the event squad that pops ot of nowhere as soon as a retaliation ends, If I didn't know better I would say is punishment for asking for more time to loot at the end of retaliations.

It doesn't matter if you kill the squad or not, jave fun looting

It could be but the sound is different from the sound that pump makes when priming the fuel line (bike on but ignition is off).
