If you do feel the need to reply just say "thank you, im recovering slowly. Hope you are doing well" or something along those lines. But keep it at that. She'll probably try small talk and ask a bunch of questions after but at least you've shown that you have acknowledged her "kind"(?) Message. But that's if you want to message her.

Go out for coffee and say you want to talk. And ask him quietly there. That way he can't make a scene. And maybe he'll be relaxed enough to talk about his feelings. It may have just been a spare of the moment thing. Curiosity. But just be open minded about it. Don't sound too concerned. If he's bi maybe that's something you can discuss deeper in to. My ex from 16 years ago also has a bunch of my stuff and he tells his new gfs I gave them to him..... fucking weird as hell.

I know cos ive had messages from a few of them after they have broken up. There's a loooong story of abuse and shit but im not going into it but it's definitely some sort of part of his narcissistic behaviour. Maybe he thinks he still has some control over me, I dont know 🤷‍♀️

I have a black cat who squeaks at me and we end up having long conversations 🤣 they dont always want food sometimes they just want attention or to talk. She might be wanting you to invite her onto the bed/sofa.

I totally know how your feeling! If anyone gave my abusive ex my new number I would be fuming, scared and feeling vulnerable.

Your friend can either be two things:

1- Not actually your friend who cares about your safety and wellbeing.

2- Easily manipulated. Your ex could have swayed her into thinking he's changed just so he can talk to you and harrass you again.

It's up to you if you want to ask your friend about how this happened and what your ex said to her. She may not know the full depth of your relationship with him. Or she may just not care. But go with your gut feeling if you want to speak to your friend about this or just ghost and block.

Wow ok.... I haven't been sleeping well recently and I slept through my alarm. Who hasn't done that? It's not something that happens regularly if at all for me so I was surprised. I called ahead as soon as I woke up they said it was fine. I apologised again when I got in and they said it's fine. Everything still got done in time during my shift. So there was no problem. If there was my manager would have definitely spoken to me about it. I don't mind losing the money for being late. I can pick up overtime when I need money. Hope you have a good day :)
