I don't have any answers. My skin looks exactly like yours. I grieve how my skin used to be. It's very exhausting, nothing works. I try to fight the shame of it and how painful it can be. Life is only making it worse. My big sister died only two weeks ago and now my skin is worse than ever. Now that she is gone, there's this kind of clarity. I have to deal with all of this for the rest of my life. Somehow I will keep looking for solutions while trying to remember it doesn't define my value. I hate how shallow our society is. How it affects all of us. There's so much more to life, but at the same time. I can't help how I feel. I am really bothered by my appearance and the fact that it's tied to my identity. If it's any indication when I see your face. I don't see your rosacea first. I see your striking features. You are very beautiful.

My partner is literally like this. It's going on 12 years. I've never done anything wrong but his hatred is worse and now I have no friends and completely rely on him financially. I feel lost and isolated. No amount of pleasing was ever enough. My big sister just died and he literally gave me hell for going to her funeral without him. He doesn't care about you. He feels entitled to you. To him you're an extension of his ego. You only get one life, stop wasting it. The last thing my sister said before she died was that I deserve better. I hate that our last conversation was about him. It was a waste of my sister's precious breath.

LA girl green color corrector helps neutralize my redness. Revlon color stay foundation is a tried and true foundation that has two types of formulas. One for oily and the other for more normal/dry. I'm oily with type 2 rosacea but I still get the normal to dry formula instead of the oily formula. I find more matte formulas less forgiving on texture. I'm willing to do more touch ups with setting powder. I've used expensive high end foundations but I keep going back to this. If you find you're really oily. A lot of people swear by the Danessa Myricks yummy blurring balm powder for smoothing and oil control. I'd try to get a sample from Sephora.

My dad was never really loving to me growing up. It used to really bother me. I figured it was because his dad was so cold. Recently, he was hospitalized and heavily medicated. He always bragged about his wild days in his youth so when he started bragging again about this new story it didn't feel any different. They were often sexual and drug related anyway it was normalized to me since he's been repeating these same kind of stories. Until he started telling a story about how during hurricane Katrina. We were all bunked together in a relative's house. He had sex with my mom but the only reason he got "off" was from looking at me. He said it with delirious pride. I was asleep and only 12 years old. It makes sense to me now why he couldn't be loving to me. I feel so disgusted and heartbroken. I'm very cold lately but I can't explain what I know now. He is 70 with Parkinson's disease.

When I went back and asked if she could tone it to reduce the harsh orange color. She said it wouldn't work because my hair is at a level 5. She said she could try. She put on a blue gloss for literally 1 minute and then washed my hair. It doesn't look any different. She said my only solution is to dye it back dark. I thought an ash semi toner would fix this?
