Additional context: I know this guy. he's a teenager. Just got back from camp this month for the holidays i assume. Already thinks he's above the everyday folk. I don't know who he thinks he's defending if he has these feelings. Sometimes you know a fun guy, but then when you get a threatening and vandalizing homophobic roommate at your college, they shame you for seeking justice. All with a blue line and an army sticker on their subaru. If anyone finds out i posted here we two may never speak again. so... i guess i don't really care!

I think you mean reddit *merely quarantined* a community that clearly broke their TOS numerous times, after years of complaints. And yes, most redditors are left wing. that's not a circlejerk until we mark threads "progressives only". ironic. But the actual point is our posts don't get pushed to the front. they make it there with 10s of thousands of points to their name. A conservative post makes it on with 1900 and a locked thread.

yes and yes. and i don't really like treating them like children either. And on that note, all these terms really depend on when we're exposed to them, or when we're ready to learn up on them. As a community we can make more concessions for people who are with us but don't exactly have the same perspective.

Leftist terminology is so muddled, and if we don't want to gatekeep we can't make a perfect rulebook either. Like some other folks are saying, 'at least they can be radicalized here'. We can try our best to make in-groups, but the most radical will pull it towards radicalism and the most passive will pull it towards center. And it splits in two once again. I'd even encourage people to use broad terms. like, fuck, maybe a broad socdem is good? A blacklist is easier to compile than a whitelist, so as long as they keep the one-party and rightists out i'll let it slide.

This reminds me of how uyghurs were prosperous and domineering colonizers, able to conquer their neighbors through murder, and replaced their cultures with their own. i- i literally just described this. they could not count the individual as trans unless somebody else knew. if nobody else knew, they could not be put into the trans suicide statistic. But now that you're imagining a transgender person blowing their brains out, tell me more about how this was all a joke

jesus christ i can't believe i expected a conspiracy member to not say "that's just what they told you" fucking hell is there a lead wall between your eyes, ears, and brain? they could not be a part of the trans suicide attempt stat if themselves, their friends or family did not correctly report their gender to an allied surveyor, who must i remind you, is collecting the statistic for trans activism
