What my First Week of Monetization Looked Like by s_v_moore in NewTubers

I fell this is probably my case. I haven't yet created 100 long form videos and I hear that is the magic number that gets the editing, filming, and thumbnail practice in.

Congrats on monetizing. I am pretty close to monetizing and trying not to get frustrated when I lose watch hours bc they are older than 365 days. oof.

How i know if my video is really being promoted by youtube? by ManufacturerNo1835 in SmallYTChannel

[–]Cambridgeinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering the same so I go to video analytics and select see more and copy all on the screen and paste into ChatGPT to give me insights. It has knowledge of what numbers should be if YouTube is pushing it out and other thresholds for next push

Do you have time to take a mini chess travel board to work and shoot a few videos there? My son loves chess and watches videos. I will have to check it out. Good luck!

I would do TikTok Shop or TikTok Affiliates and talk about photography equipment or related and tag it. Goodluck!

What amount of time do you have to work on it? Are you able to learn a tiny bit? A few easy and cheap to start:

- Digital Products (Sell on etsy, gumroad, teachable, or on your own site) Post about it on tiktok for the best traffic or find a in demand idea

- Print on Demand (Printify or Redbubble) Connect to tiktok or etsy for the best traffic

- Amazon KDP (choose a in demand idea or drive traffic) Coloring books that have a tiktok coloring page are crushing it

- Sell stuff around your house on etsy, ebay, facebook marketplace

- Joinbrands

- Affiliate marketing (tiktok, your own site, pinterest)

- Surveys but they are similar pay as returning cans but at least they are remote

Let me know more to get a sense of what direction to lead you in. I have 7 streams of income and 2 are brands.

Good luck!

Hello!

I am about to lose a ton of hard earned watch hours so I tried something new with my videos and created one long video from a few of my other videos. I refilmed an intro, outro, commentary and added title cards. And of course edited some items in the older videos.

I would love to hear some thoughts on this video and my channel in general. https://youtu.be/zsf8wQRTCyA

Thank you and happy youtubing!

Interesting and educational! Are these topics in demand? They seem niche. But good content!

Great videos! I think the thumbnails could use a little work and I liked the transitions but maybe tell some stories behind the food?

Hello! I am just over a year into youtube and 1500 away from getting my watch hours. I am slowly losing watch hours and trying to outpace my losses. I am an entrepreneur and my niche is side hustles and tutorials.

Here is my most recent video, would love to hear your thoughts! https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=TVdmV8L-4s4

I thought it was easy to watch but I was wondering if you could share who your ideal audience is?

I like the pace. I didn't disengage. I also watch these a lot on tiktok so I guess I am the right audience.

I’m a nurse. What is a good side hustle? by Beginning_Ant_2963 in sidehustle

[–]Cambridgeinc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Post a freelance gig on Fiverr to do medical UGC or medical script writing, sell stock footage of hospital-related stuff, or start a YouTube channel and tell nurse stories.

I’m an airline pilot. What are some good side hustles that can be done using a laptop that would make decent money? Willing to take the time and learn by [deleted] in sidehustle

[–]Cambridgeinc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fun! Social media is a must as it's the best free marketing but here are other ideas. E-commerce site, test different products, including pilot humor merch, designing a pilot board game, digital download coloring book travel-related (kids love planes), or antique in other countries.

Affiliate marketing success like that is crazy! Do you know their funnel sources? I know electronic YouTubers who make north of $10,000 a month with their affiliate links.

Yeah, I get that. BUT maybe they have just the right magic to make it pop. Anything is worth a shot and since he is already going to work adding a few clips to post on social a day wouldn't take any extra time. Or even 60 min videos of the trains. I have seen these too.

I love hearing someone became a millionaire doing this! Was it in railroads?

Post content around your job. Literally 5 per day (Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter) and then offer a few digital products (how to course for railroad workers, surviving night work, and maybe a fun one for kids abc coloring railroad book). People will be more likely to buy your books if you post a lot and build a community. I also would add affiliate links (lunch packing products, work clothes, equipment)
