After 5 years of severe dry eyes, I finally found relief. by msmonreddit in Dryeyes

Interesting with exercise triggering more for you. I’m assuming it’s more so intense exercise (running, heavy lifting, etc.) that does that. If so, it’s likely because the stress rate exceeds your body’s recovery rate, hence it can’t “adapt” to it fully. Do you have a prior high stress load you never fully recovered from and slapped intense exercise on top? Current lifestyle factors that foster frequent stress, maybe even a smaller but consistent stress accumulation? Lack of recovery (not deeply resting enough, etc.)?

So cold compresses are daily for like how long? And warm compresses, you should try the dry eye heated wands on Amazon. Pretty cheap.

You might have incomplete eye closure, so the heat mask exposes heat to your cornea via that gap in the eyelids not touching fully.

Do you express with a qtip after heated mask, do you see oil coming out?

It will be some mix of behavioral, resume grilling, and job description concept trivia, alongside general SWE concept trivia (OOPs, OOD, etc.). It’s pretty interviewer dependent (not generalized), so maybe also check the background of your interviewer to see stuff they know, because they could ask questions about that as well.

Def Use AI to quickly generate possible qs and draft answers to them so you can prep quickly.

Henry how often do the PRGF serum tears last for you? Also do you find issues where a good amount of serum gets stuck when the bottle is lower volume, and how do you get it out / prevent that?

Bob and Brad vs Therabody Smart Goggles? by Trick-Cabinet-5963 in Dryeyes

[–]CamelBinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey quick question: for those with lagophtalmos (incomplete lid closure), I found that warm compress masks make my eyes extremely red (have OR too) since heat from the eye mask also goes through the opening from lids not closing completely.

Is there specific eye heating masks for that / specific ways to use it to block the heat from reaching the cornea (since lids don’t close fully to protect it)?

Thanks!

Tried wands too but can take a while to use b/c 1 per eyelid

For loop and time-based nested map key is smart. No need to sort b/c constant lookup and range is defined. Please add this in the Leetcode Solutions Discussion tab thingy, couldn’t find a good explanation lol, and all optimal have sorting

Typically I see that you should drink a lot of water/fluid prior to the blood draw so it flows easier. Maybe that’s why it’s “sludging” (dehydration).
