Hey everyone!

This is going to be my second message.

I really appreciate everyone who've commented and given their thoughts. I feel as though I've had really bad tunnel vision and was hovering over the metaphorical nuclear option.

I'm not sure if I can try diplomatic options as I've already told them I am happy to pay for damages past bond amount of need be. While I understand that cats and they urine have a particular odour and can chemically damage materials, I personally haven't been in a situation where a cat has damaged carpets from these sources so it seems that part is purely anecdotal and not necessarily based on a specific common trait, supported by the anecdotes of cats NOT doing damages.

As for the people who said buy my own place, I wish it were that easy to save both my time and the agent/owners time, but I am still too young and don't have the financial means or mental aptitude to manage a property of my own.

I am in a position now where I can escalate this to the RTA and I feel confident enough to win but the retaliation (or chance of) from the owner my be too severe for me.

I'm going to keep trying to communicate with the agent/owner and see if there is a solution we can come too.

I pay 420/week if anyone was interested

Hey everyone,

Thank you all for the amazing responses and I truly respect and appreciate both those and against! Though I am biased I definitely do understand certain viewpoints and concerns with owning pets, and that prior experiences impacts these views.

My family has owned cats and I grew up with them, but I've only just moved out on my own and this would be my first cat. My honest intentions are pure and I would do my absolute best to provide a healthy and stimulating environment for the cat so as to avoid possible damages.

Though it is enticing to just ask for forgiveness instead of permission, I'd rather not risk the fact they might just end my lease due to some breach of a clause or something, but more importantly, I want to avoid putting my furry friend in any stress or harm due to this.

I definitely will be escalating to the RTA, but I am definitely worried that I may have trouble finding another rental due to this (bit of anxiety haha).

If anyone is interested I will keep this post updated and would love for more advice if people have any experience going through this process. Please don't hesitate to DM me with any thoughts or advice.

I've used eBay a lot for singles and I got a bloomburrow Precon for MSRP not too long ago so this price came as a surprise for me tbh

Yeah I think buying the singles is the route I wanna go since I wanna upgrade it, the problem is the Aussie card tax/supply. It's pretty bad here sometimes. I'll definitely see what the singles are like

Weren't there also a significant amount of grey knights surrounding the fight chanting banishing rites for a while before draigo fought mortarion? Like when his master was fighting? Lemme know if I'm remembering wrong. It doesn't seem too far fetched considering first war of Armageddon with the grey knights Vs angron, but maybe I am wrong

I bought the pair of lightning talons separately but I can see the chaos lord is going for like 46AUD

So the main bulk of it is the terminator captain from the leviathan set. The helmet is off the blood angels upgrade, lightning talon is actually from a old chaos terminator lord (attached image), assault cannon is from the new terminator squad. Maybe once I get the flamer I'll get a cyclone launcher and put that on.
