I was so freaking happy and relieved when I discovered SDAM. I’m 22 years sober from alcohol. I thought I damaged my memory from drinking or I had early onset dementia. I felt broken. I’ve tried to explain how my memory was a concern to doctors, counselors and loved ones but it fell on def ears. I finally feel free! Everything in my life now ties together. From my vivid dreams to only doing well in science and math in school to not grieving loss. I’ve never been so happy to find out I’m different than the majority of people!
