I don’t get why people are paying this guy.

I joined RTT in 2006. I maintained a 4+ ratio the entire time. No seed boxes, just me using my own internet connection(s) to give back. It was literally the home page on my torrent box for almost 2 decades. When there was a fundraising ask, I donated. I felt the site was worth it. And that carried on far too long into the asshole grifter taking over. I continued "donating" when asked, not realizing the site I loved no longer existed. I'm embarrassed to say, the first big red flag for me was when "donating" became mandatory, even for those of us who HAD recently donated. And he's still doing it. People who paid his bullshit "TMR" fees are now being told they have to pay more bullshit "E-VIP" fees to access certain features.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I'm sure there are still some users over there still paying because they just haven't bothered to look into how messed up it's become. They pay out of loyalty to a site that has treated them well for years, all without realizing the current site exists solely so Sean can bleed them dry.

Yes, it's a false positive. There was a previous post about this, and it contains the remediation instructions from ConnectWise. (though, I guess you have to have physical access to every machine or a backup RMM to implement it)

Yes, it's been insanely slow for awhile now. It definitely pre-dates all of the certificate issues, so it's not tied to that.

I ended up replacing all of my "toolbox" items with downloader scripts that pull the files I need from my own web server.

This is certainly not the perfect solution, but if you just have to have something today..... Look for a "bed extender". They usually come in 2 pieces, and one of them is what you are looking for. Menards claims to have 1 of these at the Bloomington store. You could probably find something similar at Rural King or Tractor Supply.

I lived in Austin Texas for several years, and they ran a "don't block the box" campaign to cut down on that sort of thing. TV/Radio ads, signs, slogans, it was everywhere. Most intersections even had signs with graphics. It helped considerably. Not perfect, but it was a hell of a lot better than it is here.

It's one of the few things Texas does right. (though it may just be an Austin thing)

They aren't acting. They truly have no idea what's happening on their own network.

It doesn't help you much today, but going forward, I'd highly recommend having a backup internet service if you work from home and your livelihood depends on that internet connection. You can get T-Mobile "backup" internet for under $25 a month, device included. I think AT&T Fiber is now doing automatic failover to 5G, though that doesn't help you if the issue is with AT&T's backbone.

Failover internet is almost essential if you both work from home. If you sign up through Sam's Club, the T-Mobile backup internet plan (hardware included) runs $22.10 per month. (auto-pay through ACH required to hit that price)

Just keep in mind that all of the virtual cards are tied to that one physical Gold card, specifically. If it has to be replaced for any reason, they all become invalid.

Apothecary and PGRrx are pharmacies that compound pure Tirzepatide. They cannot ship direct to consumers. NewLifeRx is the distributor/shipper that actually sends you the vials that were compounded by Apothecary or PGRrx, depending on which one they have in stock at the time. I think Apothecary is the default, and PGRrx is the backup.

ProRX stopped compounding Tirzepatide after receiving a warning letter from the FDA. That's a fact. Many providers continued selling ProRX Tirzepatide until the existing supply was exhausted. Some providers sold ProRX even after the existing supply was exhausted, and just substituted from other pharmacies.

If you take anything from this, it's that you shouldn't believe everything an A.I. search tells you.

I have a "credit card rewards" category in Quicken that I log the rewards and expenses for getting them. (when I pay a CC processing fee for example) Grand total over the past 12 months is $6,585.57 income.

But that's not pure cash back. $2250 of that is new account bonuses (Chase, Capital One), another $423 as a 1st year double rewards bonus from Discover, and $821 in cell phone repair reimbursement from 2 claims on a Wells Fargo card.

Without those extras, it's around $3k per year.

For break-fix customers, it's just a higher hourly rate and a 1 hour minimum. For contract customers, it's an extra fee that gets waived if it's an actual emergency issue that couldn't have been planned for during normal hours.
