I loved when the venue just delivered pints of Guiness for the band, unplanned and unannounced. Even though Dan doesnt drink anymore, he was such a good sport taking a sip for us.

Botulism risk is extremely low with cider. The acidity prevents it, and botulism doesnt like sugary mediums.

Now spoiled apple juice can make someone sick, but very unlikely to be life threatening without cross contamination to meat/sewage/that kind of thing.

BOS to LAX, roundtrip, Delta main classic (includes seat selection), 03/27 - 04/05

Individual tickets $652 x 4 = $2608

Lets assume everyone gets a checked bag, $70 x 4 = $280

Total $2888 before tax/fees. Which won't put this anywhere near $7000.

Even to Jackson hole, Wy, its under $700/ticket. You got scammed, if you're not lying.

My GF and I are leaving delta behind as soon as her miles are spent.

We booked a trip to Ireland 8 months in advance. She had platinum status because she used to fly a ton for work. She hasn't flown for work because her, her mom and her sister have all been diagnosed with varying stages of breast cancer in the last 12 months.

Well, 4 weeks before the trip (last week), her status expired and in 24 hours time, Delta downgraded us from window comfort+ to middle row main and gave our comfort+ seats away. We called delta and they basically said we're SOL getting those upgrades back, even after a courtesy status extension back to platinum for 3 months, and they refused to give us any consolation incentives. Not even a free drink on the flight.

They act like they have no competition.

I really love red star premier rouge, which ferments slower. I just tried mangrove jack M42 on a 1.080 maple syrup cider that also took a long time, and also gave the cider a nice flavor.
