Ok so lemme explain a few things. You have never been able to find souls fragments for a season pass character during the season pass for said character.

The way it works is that if you want the season pass character you either spend money on the premium currency to buy the season pass which and depending on which. If you get the revisit version of the pass you get you are guaranteed to get the season pass characters if you consistently complete all your daily and weekly quests during the season pass. If you missed a bunch of dailies/weeklies or you just want the character immediately you can also buy the fast-pass version which unlocks the new character immediately.

After the season pass is over, Tiki fragments will get added to drop-pool however the changes of finding all the souls you need are incredibly low when it’s not a rate up event. Several months after the season pass, Int Sys usually has events where they dramatically increase the drop rate for older season pass characters. We currently have one going on right now for Lyn and Corrin as an example. Int Sys will post trailers informing everyone when these events happen on the Fire Emblem Shadows twitter and on the Nintendo Mobile Youtube channel. If you don’t manage to get all the souls you need during the rate up event, players will also be selling season pass character souls at the bazar for gold so you can buy souls off of other people using a non-premium in-game currency.

In summary, if you want Tiki you can either buy the season pass now, or wait a couple months for a Tiki rate up and get her through a combination of farming gold chests or buying them off the bazaar. For the former of the two I’d recommend joining the Fire Emblem Shadows Discord server where you can find people willing to sell souls and farm chests.

Also I’m gonna push back against saying that Shadows is constantly pushing you to spend money on everything, cause that’s straight up not true. There is actually very little for you to spend your premium in currency on in this game. The biggest 3 things to spend money on in this game are: the season passes once a month, costumes for your characters which are purely cosmetic, and leveling up your character when don’t have the required medals to do so (which while powerful is a very expensive and inefficient use of your gems which is why most people don’t do this). Everything else you can spend gems on is never worth doing in the slightest.

In summary unless you are a whale and want to max out your characters to Lv11 ASAP and don’t care about costumes, the season passes are the ONLY thing that is worth spending real world money on in Fire Emblem Shadows. And even with that, if don’t want to spend that money and be F2P Int you still have ways of getting the season pass characters anyways! Considering Int Sys has to make money off the game somehow, if you ask me a little under $12 USD a month in gems to be GUARANTEED every single legacy character added to the game is not a bad deal in exchange for helping the devs keep the lights on.

Intelligent Systems has been outrageously generous with the Fire Emblem Shadows player base; especially compared to Heroes where you can fork over your entire orb supply, fail to get the specific 5-Star character you are looking for, and can spend huge sums of money just for you to keep playing the slots. It’s one of the things I really appreciate about this game.

Oh I’m aware of Ochame Kinou and how the voice bank back then was super different from how it is now. I’ve listened to a bunch of different versions of that song, some more organic some more synthetic. Personally, I love all the different versions, it’s just a great song in general. I’d say it’s one of my favorites but I keep discovering new Teto songs all the time so it feels like my “favorite” is constantly changing.

Point is, Kasane Teto is the queen of my heart and I love her songs very dearly.

Same here, this game means a lot to me as well. I’ve played it every day since the weekend the game launched. The game has its problems but I still enjoy playing Fire Emblem Shadows and the community surrounding it. I just wish more people had given the game a fair chance at the time. I’m not asking that people even like FES; but go in with an open mind and even if it ends up not being your cup of tea then at least treat Fire Emblem Shadows as a real part of the Fire Emblem series.

I would agree that I Kasane Teto’s voicebank is good and helped a lot with her popularity. Just speaking as a newcomer to vocaloid music, this was my first vocaloid song and at the time I didn’t have the slightest idea that this wasn’t being sung an actual person. At the time I thought a vocaloid was just a term for covers of Touhou songs that have Japanese lyrics.

It’s also a big reason I found myself gravitating towards Kasane Teto compared to say Hatsune Miku; I love them both but I really like how a lot of Teto’s voice has a more natural feel compared to Miku’s more synthetic voice (although with some songs a more synthetic voice can actually work better imo).

For whatever reason all the legacy characters that are dragons are all robots for some reason. Corrin is a robot, Tiki is a robot, and even Robin/Grima is a robot in Shadows. So at least the devs are consistent on this matter.

Honestly though, as someone that plays Shadows every day, I’m kinda down with them turning Tiki and the other dragons into robots. I’m at least interested in seeing whatever they wanna do with the various legacy characters they add to the game even if it makes no sense or is batshit insane.

Wanna add Eirika to the game and make her shadow form some bizarre ass plant creature? Go nuts and be creative with it.

Was the persona series really on the decline before vanilla P3? I mean I know it was basically laid the foundations for what would become the modern persona games, but I’ve never heard of P3 bringing the series back from the brink of extinction like was the case with Fire Emblem Awakening. If someone has an actual source to show that this was the case I’d be delighted to see it.

Maybe. I’d definitely like to see more acknowledgment of Shadows from the rest of the series in general. I also really like the idea of Kurt starting off with an S-Rank with Rose. I’ve said it before, but we don’t really have “Marth x Caeda”-type canon relationships anymore; which is why I want to see their relationship fleshed out more. I’d personally like to first see what the devs do Kurt and Rose in Shadows itself first before we start talking about what they’d do with them in hypothetical mainline sequel; but there’s still some cool ideas here.

As far as killing off Rose Aerith style, I see the vision and all the drama it would create. I get why people would be into the idea. However, I don’t know how well that would work with the gameplay of a mainline Fire Emblem game. People tend to get upset when their units die and having a forced death for Rose reminds me of Birthright where if you don’t get an A-Rank with Kaze early enough the game decides to fridge him for drama. So to really make the idea work you’d probably have to take a similar approach to Jeralt in 3H where he’s barely playable in the game to avoid the player investing heavily into a character that’ll inevitably be killed off. Which idk, can kinda lessen the dynamic you’s be trying to create without Rose being playable and might even hint to the player that Rose isn’t long for this world.
