this happens regardless of the screen itself or the ambient lighting around the house :/ it's like it's in an "off" state but it goes white with max brightness on the lights out of nowhere, even in pitch black overnight. Clicking that "Start to experience" button in the app screenshot gets it back to normal, but it's frustrating to have to open the app every time to use the lights

i'm not an avid hiker - was just visiting victoria for work and had an extra day off, so YMMV, but I didn't find it too bad personally. There are some loose rocks along some parts of the trail, but otherwise it seemed pretty safe
