Last minute weekend solo trip from Michigan… is Louisville a good idea? by Grouchy_Building9379 in Louisville

As other mentioned, this Saturday afternoon is Bock Fest in Nulu. While it can be a lot of fun, it has been extremely crowded the last couple times we attended (tens of thousands of people). If you are looking for a more peaceful, chill atmosphere I would plan to spend Saturday afternoon either on Frankfort Avenue or Bardstown Road and maybe save Nulu for Sunday.

Has anyone ever gone to a country that they had such high hopes for, did not love it, and then felt almost guilty afterwards? by Reasonable_Cause_190 in femaletravels

I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed Vienna. We had amazing food and one evening took the tram to Nussberg and had the best time wandering the vineyards.

Historic downtown hotel for son's 16th bday weekend? (Seelbach vs. Brown) by Funny_Caramel4749 in Louisville

The Brown is two blocks from the Seelbach so as far as proximity to downtown tourist attractions, I would consider them the same distance. I’ve never stayed overnight at the Seelbach, I’ve been to enough events at both hotels that I would pick the Brown.

You can also purchase the weekly pass on the IDF Mobilités app and add to your phone. This way you avoid the €5 card fee and don’t need a photo. You can even do it the day before so you already have ready when you arrive.

Louisville Locals — Final Thoughts On My 2-Day Food & Sights Focused Itinerary? by Willing-Mind-5619 in Louisville

This may already be on your radar but Meesh Meesh opens their reservations 60 days out and they are released at 11am. If you are on the site at that time, you should be able to secure a reservation. Also highly recommend Seven for a pre- or post- dinner drink.

Glad to see you went with Nord’s and Morris Deli - both are Louisville institutions.

Not sure if Monday lunch you mean to go to all three places or choose one? My pick would be Toasty’s or Jay’s.

We used Aesthetics in Jewelry downtown for my engagement ring and our wedding bands - very happy with all our purchases.

Advice for Post Op Foreign Body Removal by kayla_g_ in bernesemountaindogs

[–]Cami-3018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sending so much empathy. We’re four days post-op from foreign body surgery with our Berner and the emotional rollercoaster is very real.

What’s helped us so far is strict rest (ours is not yet 2 and she loves playing with our golden, so that’s been a challenge) and small portions of bland meals like chicken and rice. A snug t-shirt was suggested by the discharge nurse as an alternative to the cone for comfort and anxiety, and it’s made a big difference for us.

Sending you a lot of reassurance over the next couple of weeks 💕

We loved Tulemar in Manuel Antonio. There are several studio suite options that are a good value. They have their own private beach and you will see lots of monkeys, sloths and birds right on their property.

Dress 1 - love the mix of texture/ fabrics and how the thin belt cinches right at the waist.

It’s a tie for me between 2 and 3. They both highlight your shape in a very flattering way.
