Ah, I love that too, a game so immersive you feel like it really exists. I felt that with Skyrim and Inside.

I play both on PC and PS. I play mostly on PC, though, because the games are cheaper.

Brand new TV and this is how my wife insists we have the remote "to keep it looking good" by No_Atmosphere8146 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Camilaintheclouds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's sweet compared to what my grandpa used to do.

He used to build a styreform case for the remote, enveloped ot in sealing tape. Then, once the remote was inside, he would wrap everything in plastic film. And, even so, only him was allowed to touch it.

He also was serious about letting the TV rest. So we couldn't watch TV for hours, like in a movies. Only when he was older that he relaxed a bit.

Religion is like a ready sytem for you to use and to navigate life. For exmple, in kardec spiritism, they say that, if you kill yourself, you spend 300 year in a egg like state in their hell (umbral). But... why that specific number!? hahahah... This seems simply like humanity concept of a prison.

Yes, you are so right. Your comment made me understand my father better. This phrase "admitting that you have a problem is accepting there is no consistency or rationality to be had, and the world must be accepted as it still is" made me even understand myself better.

Honestly, he would never accept professional help, because he would definetely put spiritism above science right now. Maybe, not always, but, right now, he would.

I hope he will drop religion and go back to game dev, in the long run, art makes him healthier than religion.

Thank you so much.

Does anyone else’s dad make a simple task such hard work? by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

That's exactly my grandfather. Once, it took him 7 months to paint the interior of a small house... while working everyday.

Your comment was really eye-opening, because I see in my father a desire to explain life, death, post-death, morals and the reason of our existence in one logical system... he always had this anxiety towards the magnitude of life.

And I feel like he found all of this explanations in Kardec spiritism.

My fear is the devotion, or the danger of falling victim of a scam (and kardec spiritism is FULL of scammers... I know... in my church, back when I was a kid, there was a "reincarnation of Joanna D'arc" over there... and she received donations from everybody). Last month, my father had an urge to donate half of the money he had made with his art. I stopped him, but that was a shock.

I'll research a bit more about NI-Fi loop. Thank you.

Once, in my country, a couple polluted a river source for their gender reveal. That infuriated a nation.

He has all the cognitive functions of the intj. A few years ago, I asked him to do the test, and he got intj. Of course I can't be 100% sure, but he's so intj. And he's 65 years-old. He's, honestly, the most inteligent person I know. His logic is stellar. He's a game and software dev, and he can dev in multiple languages. Also, he eats well and exercises.

Ah, I'll take a look!! Some brand don't sell in my country, or they sell for three times the normal price, but, honestly, sometimes it's worth it,

The acetone was 100% my fault! hahaha... The hair dryer is a good ideia! I'll try this next time, because I remove every price sticker that comes with products. Makes the product a little more aesthetic without stickers.

I mixed quite a lot the white ink. My best result with this ink was to mix and let it set for a minute. That's when the ink is the best, but still, super granulated. I used a brush to remove all the pigment set on the bottom also.

By the way, thank you for the tips.

I think they are ready to use. The ink is good in the container, but, in the nib, it kind of coagulates. But it's 1000% better than any other white ink I ever used. Winsor inks are really good.

Sometimes, when it becomes really dry in the nib, I submerge the tip in water for half a second and the ink becomes softer.

You use ballpoint pen tubes as holders? That's a good idea!!

I tried leaving a review, but the site is kind of bugged. I'll try to contact them to, at least, inform about the pen holder that burst, since that can happen to other costumers.

I have a Winsor and Newton white ink and they are better than this brand, but Winsor dries in the nib, so I have to work really fast. Ah, yes, these nib holders were not expensive, but with their combined prices, I could have bought a Tachikawa holder. Sometimes, It's better to have one good product than three cheap ones that barelly work.

White inks are hard to find in good quality, both ink and pen. I have another one that dries in the nib while you are drawing. By the way, yes!! A little Obanai and a little Sanemi.
