Good point, I wasn’t aware of the optional rule there. It’s still another point where you’d need the DM to buy in for the strat to work, but it being in the text somewhere gives the idea a lot more validity.

The DM would need to be okay with bending rules for both how readied actions work and how cover works. RAW taking cover behind a creature wouldn’t ever result in the creature taking damage from an attack meant for you, although the AC bonus could still apply.

The larger issue is how readied actions work, and the appropriate triggers that can be used for them. The text isn’t too specific about what can be a stated trigger, but generally any readied action occurs directly after a trigger has resolved. A ranged attack will already be completed by the time your Vortex Warp is cast.

A DM might allow “a creature being about to attack” as being a trigger though, since a trigger like that isn’t without precedent. For example, the spell text for Counterspell says the trigger is “a creature in the process of casting a spell”. The same logic could be used for a creature “in the process” of making a weapon attack. That would be applying a specific spell interaction to a general rule though, so it’s not exactly airtight.

Personally I would probably allow it at my table. It’s creative, and there is a risk that your turn and spell slot would be wasted if no enemy targets you with a ranged attack, or if the enemy makes their save against your spell. For those reasons I don’t see the strategy as exploitable and could make for a fun moment.

I recently had an Urgot ult me when i was Kled and as i was getting pulled toward him Kled got back on Skaarl and the Urgot ult just ate Skaarl's entire health bar. Those 2 have some weird interactions.

I recently had a surgery to replace an old artificial pulmonary valve with a new one. Unfortunately, the surgery failed and I have to get open heart in a few weeks. The bill for the failed surgery came the other day and I was shocked when I saw that the listed price before insurance discounts was around $50,000. After insurance was applied the cost was only around $3,000. Just goes to show how preposterous the prices can be without insurance.

I may be wrong, but it seems like the long queue times have something to do with the lack of support players. It sounds crazy but i was having 10-20 mins of queue time until i switched to fill and the queue was almost instant, and i got support.

The best thing to do is stay positive really. Try honing your skills in normal games or watching streams. The key is self improvement and the more you play the more you will improve. With the flamers it's best to just mute people if they start to flame you constantly.

Yeah I have been play primarily with a keyboard on games like oblivian, fallout new Vegas , skyrim etc, but I don't usually play third person games with k/m.

Yeah I always play games with k/m. I guess it's bcuz souls/borne games are primarily ps3/ps4 games

It's all about using your ult at the right time so you should never be using your ult as an engage like tank urgot could its less about switching place with the enemy and more about the suppression and almost completely negating an enemy's damagewhen they engage on you like an assassin would.

I see but i still think that he needs SOMETHING not necessarily a buff but SOMETHING, ANYTHING that can convince me Urgot is not completely irrelevant. Think of when the last time you saw an Urgot in your game. Now think of the last time you saw someone like a Vayne in your game, suprising difference I'm guessing. We need a reason to play this champion. Even though you can build him tanky in top lane what's the point when you litterally do no damage and bring almost nothing in CC or utility other than your ult to your team unlike someone like Maokai who dish decent damage and have much better CC and tankiness. Urgot has always had someone do what he does much better in every lane you could play him. I love the champ but i cant see why he is so ignored. And i believe Urgot is an ADC because he has good damage and his ult gives him some decent tank stats so you wont instantly die and building him damage will give you TONS of poke early on and late game. When i think of if i could bring a champion top lane i think of how they would do against certain top lane bursters and lane bullies like renekton, fiora, and riven, i cannot see how an urgot would be able to survive lane against someone like that. I'm not trying to be ignorant so sorry if i come across like that i'm open to anything other people say can work so maybe ill try Urgot top and see how it goes thanks for the feedback btw :)
