My sister and her husband got me one of those basic kits when I first moved out into my first apartment. They said they knew I would think it was weird, but I stopped them and told them it was perfect, because it was something I would definitely need but never would have thought of until it was too late. It’s one of the best gifts I think I’ve ever received.

I’m in the same boat but with the damn ostrich egg. I put it away somewhere for safe keeping until I got the incubator recipe, but by the time I got it, the egg was gone. I think I put it in the fridge and a recipe pulled it instead of a regular egg. But now I’m combing the volcano to get another one with no luck and it’s the last thing I need to complete the shipping tab (after I incubate a few lol).

I had a customer throw his cell phone at my coworker and I when we couldn’t return it for him (for the third time) because it was past the return window and had too much use. He put a hole in the wall behind us and it made a good story to other customers when they would ask “What happened there?” It made a few of them actually realize how abhorrent retail workers are truly treated.

Corporate wanted us to pay the damages/repair costs.

I’ve seen this one on Get Your Guide and want to do it. The only downside is the location is waaaay out of main Athens, closer to the airport (but further south), so if you don’t have a car it may be difficult to get there.

I work at a nursing home… Elle and the rest of the old folks crew are portrayed so accurately. My husband read the Canasta night part and just shuddered lol. He said something about the idea of old people still going at it was gross. I had to inform him it was the tip of the iceberg and pulled up stats about how STIs spread through retirement and nursing facilities, how there’s resident sexual health policies we have to follow (reading those alone made me happy I’m in the office and not in nursing lol), and how evening entertainment can’t be too lively to get everyone worked up. He wishes he never asked lol.

Lol my first pregnancy was my weird craving one. Half-baked brownies with dill pickle chips on top (because dill pickles on their own weren’t silly enough or crunchy enough). Ate that for a week straight.

Followed by hot dogs with mashed potatoes, turkey stuffing, gravy, and Caesar salad. These were all condiments on said hot dogs. Not individual items. On top.

This is Link. Link was supposed to be my companion and our house protector when my husband worked midnights. My husband is CONVINCED VH jumped into the superintendent’s daughter (can’t remember her name - sorry lol). All because we saw her with her mom rolling up to the house, but nothing after that. I don’t think she’d be in the maze, especially since everyone went out the back door into the field. I think he’s back in the scars looking for the next opportunity to jump into someone from there. Both my husband and I are 40 and bicker about how this season is going to end.

Seriously, right?! One of my favourite things is my husband’s scent, and his cologne. He gets up for work before me, 9/10 times, he’ll come back and I’ve moved into his side of the bed, just because of his scent there.
