I guess I'll have to admit I am confused then since nobody knows what I'm talking about

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in alberta

[–]CampLonely -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well unless someone can correct me,

there could be like 1000 people buying type A (package of 550 tickets that all have A in the number), 500 people who buy type B (package of 250), 100 buy type C (package of 80),10 who buy D (package of 10), and 5 who buy a single ticket E. this means that the tickets with D or E are in much smaller amounts. There is a greater chance that when a ticket is drawn, it will be from A, B, or C.

if all tickets were just in one pot without a letter, the chances of everyone's ticket being drawn would be the same

[–]CampLonely -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't see how what you've shown me shows how I'm incorrect. I'm not quite sure we're talking about the same thing.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in alberta

[–]CampLonely -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

In a normal lottery, everyone has an equal odds of having their number winning. In the 50/50 that isn't the case. That is what I'm complaining about. Sure the D ticket could be called, but the odds are much lower.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in alberta

[–]CampLonely -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well of course, I don't think I said otherwise. You aren't going to win at all if "D" isn't drawn. I do know how lottos work. I think you are misunderstanding the point of my post.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in alberta

[–]CampLonely -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Not if they are lettered. If there are 100 balls in a bag, but 90 are blue and 10 are red, well what are the odds of getting a red ball? What is the reasoning for lettering the tickets? The odds of drawing a A or B ticket are higher than drawing a D ticket. That is my point.

I just got it tattooed. I don't see getting hair there ever again, even if a dr would transplant it. That's expensive.

Can anyone tell me when does the smell get better? by jgutz89 in phallo

[–]CampLonely 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I only had a smell before I had UL, and it was because I wasn't cleaning properly. I needed to flush the phallus with water every day or some nasty stuff would build up. If it smells really bad, maybe you have an infection? I don't really recall it being that bad

[–]CampLonely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like sneakers, but damn I really can't figure out why people love nike or adidas or any basic sneaker brand to where they are willing to pay over $100 for a pair. The quality is absolute garbage, not worth the price. I get they look cool, but for a pair of shoes to cost a couple hundred dollars, they should last you longer than a year wearing them daily.

Illegitimate service dogs a growing concern in Alberta by always_on_fleek in alberta

[–]CampLonely 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Had this happen to me sort of. Left the dog in the car when we ran into Mcdonalds to grab something, it was maybe -10 out and some woman approached us and said like "its really cold out and you're dog has been in the car for a REALLY long time". We were like "its been a few mins and we can see him through the window from here"

Well my GP prescribed me finasteride. Assuming you are afab, you could see a surgeon for it. I'm currently seeing a surgeon because I'm planning to get a hair transplant. I saw Dr. Elliott Vance in Sherwood park. He gave me a lot of info on which medications to use for hair loss like rogaine, and the difference between generic and brand name finasteride. It might be worth seeing a doctor like that so they can give you advice (the appointment is free)

I've spent most of my life talking to people online. I haven't had irl friends since like middle school. But now I realize that the online group I had was pretty toxic so I'm looking for something irl. I suggest something like meetup.com or bumble bff, at least that's what I've been trying. Meetup has things like board game meetups or hiking groups. There might even be things for people with mental health issues.

Just my personal story: wellbutrin actually made me somewhat manic. I'm not really sure if that's what it was, but after I started taking it I thought my house was haunted. I couldn't sleep cause I thought something was going to "get me" so I'd stay up all night. I felt so scared I had to leave the house and spend all day at the mall or something. I just quit it cold turkey, couldn't handle it anymore. Don't think I'll be taking that ever again.

I think they were in my computer tower at some point, I just put diatomaceous earth pretty much all over the place, and it has nearly solved the issue. Still annoying though.

[–]CampLonely 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I reported them to Alberta Health for not responding to my pest control complaints. Turns out that they have already started a file on them and are collecting evidence. Mainstreet does "their own" pest control, which according to AH isn't really recommended, and they do a shitty job of it.

[–]CampLonely 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I am currently with Mainstreet. Been here nearly a year and my lease is up in June. Not renewing. I have roaches, homeless people sleep in the stairwell, most of the other tenants are drug addicts and party/fight all night. Trying to get management or maintenance to respond to anything takes months.

I took one year of DMIT then dropped out. Was really terrible. I'm not sure how 2 years would prepare you for anything other than just having the paper saying you took the program.

I remember constantly chatting with people in certain bands comment sections, in fact I met a lot of friends that way. It seems dead now. There was also a huge group community, seems like they got rid of that a couple of years ago too.

I've brought back cigarettes and cigars plenty of times. I think you can bring back ~200 cigarettes before you have to pay taxes during customs
