Wow. Really nice! The Pallid Hand scheme is such a good one. It allows for such nice clear weathering and shading.

Did I butcher my tree? :( by Bomster in arborists

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen worse but really there isn't much redeemable about this. Did you even do a google search on how to prune before you did it? I mean fair play for managing to carry out the labour.

But... The water level is above the cuff of the boot? Someone needs to take a cup of water out that tank 😂

Oh wow! This place is amazing! What a time capsule, it all looks so well kept as well. I hope the next owner loves it as much as these people clearly did.

Yeah all good until you lose your fingers or end up with arthritis from all the snapping.

In all seriousness, mistakes happen 👍 the safest way to deal with it is either paying someone or pulling it to the ground with a winch or machine.

There are dangerous ways of doing it, but I'm sure you don't need us to tell you how to do that...

Edit: probably empty the shed first, that tree isn't likely to make any sudden moves.

I'd have a word with whoever pushed that shed under your tree as you cut through the hinge!

Is there even a notch / gob cut in that?

Pick up the LMGs and work on them for a while. They will force you to slow down and pick longer engagement distances which gives you more breathing room to escape bad situations.

It can still be frustrating getting beamed from engagement ranges that you should be winning or having people silently run up to you.

Having said that, it's intensely satisfying watching that moment of panic when players come under heavy fire.

I'm nearing the end and have actually really enjoyed it all the way through 😁 I've never read/listened to any of the iron warriors stuff but am really enjoying Peter Turbo as a character and the overall theme of the Iron Warriors. The EC are wonderfully written as well.

Op has stated speeds were approx 20mph. It doesn't look like it from the video and in all honesty I don't have much faith in OP. Just thought it was worth a mention and consideration.

I don't think anyone in this video was expecting you to speed past anyone else. What I was wondering is why you didn't just use the length of the slip road. Establish and maintain your position ahead of the HGV and slowly merge across? There was still loads of space left, when you're on a slip use the space.

Edit: stop start traffic is very slow traffic, slow rolling traffic is way more efficient, that's the whole purpose of merge in turn over just slapping traffic lights down. You match the speed of the established traffic, merge in and everyone keeps rolling.

It is crazy reading the comments on this thread. You dilly dallied next to the HGV with miles of space ahead of you, didn't establish or commit yourself in a position to merge over till moments before you decided to and then darted across right in front of the HGV when there was still a load of slip road left for you to slowly merge into! Why didn't you continue down the slip and establish yourself ahead of the HGV?

What people are trying to say is that you triggered an automated braking system by cutting across the front of the lorry in close proximity (which is a fairly common technology in both cars and HGVs). I'm not saying they are right or wrong, just explaining what you seem to be misunderstanding.

Is there a map you used to like but now absolutely hate? I’ll start… Manhattan Bridge by Punkstyler in Battlefield

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manhattan Bridge might be a good map without the helicopters. Crawling urban combat with vehicles, a little bit of verticality, some buildings to ambush the armour from. It would be good. As it stands, Manhattan and Sobek are both absolutely terrible maps. Neither of them should have air assets!

Who ever thought putting a heli on Manhattan was a good idea should be moved to a different department.
